On friday, one booth in pc fair quote me 1550 with 4G pana sdhc and soft pouch. I didnt notice the shop name thou but they have stock. Its one of the shop same hall with apacer big booth.
Normal warranty is 1 year (international if i'm not mistaken), register online for 2nd year (malaysia only), but if register online between now till 31 May will get total 33 month warranty 

I got mine Rm1620 camera + 8G kingston + lumix soft pouch + screen protector + nike bag + lumix card holder + lumix bookmark. I didnt get mini tripod as need to add another 15.

Didnt get from the 1550 shop as i've reserve in the 1620 shop first.

btw...i purchased the leather case for lx3 from taiwan and my fren just sent it today...hopefully in this week can receive it..wohoho...the cover cost me only rm50++ and it's original (as the seller stated). i will post the picture when i have it with me (i remembered that i need to post the pic with the gorilla pod...but i dun have an extra camera..so when my dear LX3 is on gorila pod..i can't take the pic..i tried to use a mirror to reflect..but the result is bad  )

Is this still a good timing to buy LX3? This camera had been surfaced more than half year already.

But i found good deal with it. the boss recommend others latest Panasonic model to me. Which have a new engine.

Anyhow, i feel LX3 still will have better night shot than others new panasonic digicam even though they have new engine & higher price a little than LX3.

1500 is a good price for LX3.

Last time when i survey at Low Yat , a camera shop quote me RM1500, so the price was really really attractive
But they say out of stock, need to wait
after few weeks , i saw a girl post on a forum, she bought LX3 at the shop that i'm talking just now, with another price higher than RM1500
so i think maybe some shops quote a very low price to attract customer , and then maybe they will say if you want to add camera case, sd card or tripod, u need to pay more..
haha..really...there is also one or two shops i found in sg wang , they quote me rm1500 but all no stock.

if that is the price for LX3 at RM1500, everywhere would be selling at this price.

however, does this really happen from all camera shops in town? rarely or often?

why would they fool on the customers?

they know the customers will go and hunt for this price.

their objective:
" i can't sell it because i have no stock, and i give a below cost price to let the customers to hunt for the price"

Bro, do you mean the hotshoe cap? A forumer was selling that here. You can find it at the camera shops too. Just ask for Nikkon camera hotshoe cap.
