I bought the SGP Shield too. It doesn't protect the chrome bezel but the good thing is it's slim and looks very nice on the iPhone. Sadly I am unable to find a leather casing that will fit it just yet. sad.gif

Are we talking about the shield or the case? You should be referring to the casing.

I'm using one now and yeah, it doesnt cover the chrome bezel. Makes me worried whether the edge of the case which touches the chrome parts will be scratched when removed or gripped on for too long, sigh. Also, have to be really careful when handling the phone since this is not meant for hard damages (don't dare to imagine if it falls down cry.gif ).

But like you said, it is slim and looks so beautiful on the iPhone. I'm loving the white casing on the back! Full of Apple feel, lol laugh.gif

agree with you bro...the airjacket is best case...it's feels like there is no case at all..not bulky at all...by the way are you using the anti glare screen protector...
*
Not sure about this, but I thought power support air jacket has the tendency to get the chrome bezel scratched easily (during application or removal).

Planning to get

1) SGP Case for iPhone 3G/ 3G S Ultra Thin High Gloss Plus [WHITE] or
2) SGP Case for iPhone 3G/ 3G S Ultra Thin Plus [WHITE]

Anyone using these? have any idea?

since the PLUS version come with 2 screen protector.. do u guys apply both? will it darken the screen?

besides the Stenheil protector.. i planning to get the mirror effect protector.. but if I apply the mirror effect protector.. when the screen is on.. everything will be darker right?

notworthy.gif

Errr, you don't apply both. It's two different screen protectors, you use only either one. Anti-finger print or high gloss.

Sigh, guys...my phone just suffered it's first drop from chair high height to the floor...scratched my chrome bezel part a lil' sad.gif
That's what you get from using SGP casing which covers only the back part. I love the classic white casing, but can't they find a way to incorporate this with some front protection as well, sigh...

Hmm, any good suggestion in getting a casing that gives me this feel (super slim, classic white, preferably with Apple logo showing) that covers the entire body so it's drop-proof? This baby is too nice to be shattered.

Hey, nearly missed out on your reply on my post. I'm looking through the contour fusion now, thanks for the suggestion. Anyone using this, by the way?

After 10 mins of reading up....................wow...check this out: http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/49 and http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/52

Please let me know what you guys think about these two? Really appreciate it lots!

*
Yeah...for us to choose whichever we like. Don't worry, it's not only you who are confused over this. I was one of them when I got mine, hahaha laugh.gif

Anyone using the Mophie's juick pack air? It seems pretty thick to me o_O
I'm thinking to get this and then maybe half of the time when I don't need the extra battery (especially when it's so bulky), I can change to another casing. Not sure if it'll make my phone prone to scratches...but yea, hope it's practical.

I'm currently looking also at More's Eternity and Noel series. Looks great, but not sure if it fits a girl tongue.gif
Anyone using this currently? What's the take on this? Thanks!

I'm looking at Switcheasy Capsule Rebel (not sure why I wasn't interested last time) and Griffin Wave. I really need to have some ease of mind for drop protection as the one I'm using now covers only the back part. I made a search here and seems like Rebel can trap dirt easily and have the iPhone scratched inside out, is this true? Also, the sagging issue.
And what do you guys think about Wave?

Saw this in the thread too and was wondering how is it like, but don't know why cant get a single result on this case on youtube...

teikwing, I supposed you came back to Penang for the weekend? Hehe...thanks for the feedback earlier.

Was gonna get Rebel but after the scratchy issue, better not. I've seen reviews on Wave and although it's nice, but there's downside to it too. Sigh. I guess we just have to take chances. Will Incase Slider cause scratches on the inside, peeps?

Hi Pinkspire,
Honestly so far that I have been using the rebel, i dont have a problem with scratches. Yes the spine is prone to it, but it just depends how you take care of your phone. Most of the hardcase covers are prone to scratches. If you put it down just make sure you put it down properly tongue.gif. Well the good thing about the rebel is that if you really like your cover, and the spine is really scratched up to a point you can't take it, just buy a new spine, its pretty cheap smile.gif
*
Heya, thanks for your reply. The scratches that I mentioned are those made to your phone inside out due to dirt trapped inside. If I'm not mistaken, teikwing sold his because of this reason.
But yeah, the design is quite eye-catching, hehe...

Let us know when you've got it yea? I'm also curious to know if this case is as good as it sounds. Looking forward for your review.

i have buy few cases from more-thing. very nice cases!!

My friends stopped using theirs because it affected the phone signal. They've tested the before-and-after the casing and the difference was so obvious, they chucked away the casing already. This is a known case with these casings, so, perhaps you would wanna see if it affects yours.
