QUOTE(jingyong @ May 20 2009, 09:01 PM) I have a question here.. i'm thinking of getting either an Invisible Shield or Bodyguardz or SGP shield for my iPhone 3G then plus a leather case.. LOL. as far as i can recall from my clinical days, i typically don't carry my then-current phone with me as i fear that it might get stolen or even slip out of my scrubs. i will swap the SIM card with a relatively cheaper phone.Coz i feel more secure to put in a case when my iPhone 3G is in my pocket just in case i knock into the table or something hard.. But i scare with the extra shield on my iPhone 3G, it wont fit into the leather case such as this or this.. anyone can give me some suggestions? I'll be running around in the hospital so i think i'll sweat quite lot I scare the sweat will spoil my screen.. anyway to answer your question, the invisibleshield is thin enough to fit into most cases which i have experimented with (this is based on my personal experience and hence it may differ) |

QUOTE(jingyong @ May 20 2009, 09:17 PM) hey, there were reported cases in the british hospitals alright? maybe on the other hand, i'm paranoid invisibleshield and bundled with another leather pouch? isn't that like a little overboard and kiasu? i'm only relying on my trusty oakley soft pouch... QUOTE(jingyong @ May 20 2009, 09:25 PM) hehe.. overprotective? i have demonstrated this maneuver to a few forummers here before.actually i'm thinking of getting the leather pouch only.. but thinking of the finger prints really annoy me off.. so get both lo any other solution which can really protect my iPhone(in the sense of something like the leather pouch which is quite hard) and keeps the finger prints away? however this is only applicable to blokes (and perhaps gals who love to wear pants?). when you slip your iPhone into an oakley soft pouch (it has to be genuine as a replica will simply won't do the job and yes i have experimented it before with my shades) and subsequently into your pocket, bodily movements in the pocket and when you slide it out of the pouch, will produce a somehow relatively finger print free screen. @ teikwing
no idea on its correlation with moshi as i have never personally seen/felt one before. mine came from my personal oakley collection. 1 oakley specs/shade = 1 pouch. a quick search on the australian oakley website, yielded me with this this AUD49.95 for 5, so it is approximately RM26 for one? Added on May 20, 2009, 11:54 pmi don't mind doing a bulk since i'm here in australia. but in order to protect myself from the depreciation of MYR, i will have to charge rm30 per piece. my brother is flying home mid june and will be able to meet peeps in one utama. i don't mind having one for my own personal consumption, that leaves the order to 4 This post has been edited by nokia2003: May 20 2009, 11:54 PM |

QUOTE(teikwing @ May 20 2009, 11:55 PM) RM26 for one is darn affordable for a branded pouch. iPouch is selling for 99 bucks. you and i both know well that prices for accessories are meant to be sky rocketing. i have worked in an IT store before and the cost price for accessories are unbelievably low.hope i can find one in M'sia though. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 22 2009, 01:06 PM) @nokia2003, can. no problem at all. just that you have the battery pack sticking out like a sore thumb when you answer phone calls. may i recommend that one opt for the earphones instead when the pack is in action? U can still use the phone when the phone is being charged, right.. with this Kensington batt pack that is. |

QUOTE(manchurr @ Jul 24 2009, 11:15 AM) thanks! very hard to decide la. now looking to incase slider, its also cover the chrome. according to the apple store personnel, this incase slider case just came in (freshly baked from the oven). it is so new, the description prints iPhone 3GS, instead of the typical 3G or maybe i can buy the one without the chrome cover, and cover the chrome using shield? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
