I have a question here.. i'm thinking of getting either an Invisible Shield or Bodyguardz or SGP shield for my iPhone 3G then plus a leather case.. Coz i feel more secure to put in a case when my iPhone 3G is in my pocket just in case i knock into the table or something hard.. But i scare with the extra shield on my iPhone 3G, it wont fit into the leather case such as this or this.. anyone can give me some suggestions? I'll be running around in the hospital so i think i'll sweat quite lot I scare the sweat will spoil my screen..

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ May 20 2009, 09:12 PM) LOL. as far as i can recall from my clinical days, i typically don't carry my then-current phone with me as i fear that it might get stolen or even slip out of my scrubs. i will swap the SIM card with a relatively cheaper phone. anyway to answer your question, the invisibleshield is thin enough to fit into most cases which i have experimented with (this is based on my personal experience and hence it may differ) haha.. wont la.. who will steal ur phone in hospital? hehe.. anyway, thx for ur reply This post has been edited by jingyong: May 20 2009, 09:19 PM

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ May 20 2009, 09:20 PM) hey, there were reported cases in the british hospitals alright? maybe on the other hand, i'm paranoid invisibleshield and bundled another leather pouch? isn't that like a little overboard and kiasu? i'm only relying on my trusty oakley soft pouch... hehe.. overprotective? actually i'm thinking of getting the leather pouch only.. but thinking of the finger prints really annoy me off.. so get both lo any other solution which can really protect my iPhone(in the sense of something like the leather pouch which is quite hard) and keeps the finger prints away?

QUOTE(teikwing @ May 20 2009, 09:30 PM) iPhone is always fingerprints-prone. get a anti-glare/finerprint screen protector. best combination: use invisibleSHIELD & leather pouch. speaking about leather pouch, this one here looks really classy. Marware CEO Glidebro nokia, any link to the Oakley soft pouch you're referring to? u mean invisible shield for the screen only n not whole set? then the back case will have finger print as well..

QUOTE(PeeEl @ May 21 2009, 02:14 PM) @jingyong To answer your initial question and this are strictly my personal views, the best of the shields is SGP, next comes BG and though IS provides relatively better protection, simply becasue it is the thickest of the three, it becomes unsightly as it attracts dirt and lint very easily. To me, after applying a shield and keeping your phone in a case is not over-protective. This is just, to each his own. Applying this same maxim, the choice of casing is strictly based on your preference and liking as they all will provide protection. So, go ahead and you can dash around in your hospital without too much of a care. But don't bump into the nurses. Cheers. thx bro.. hehe.. hmmm.. going to lowyat plaza to buy next week hopefully can find one there
