since most case and screen protectors don't protect the Home button, does it also get scratched easily?

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jan 31 2009, 11:18 AM) Even if it does get scratched, you cant see it close enough to warrant worrying about it. Trust me, you dont want to sover the Home button, all you get after use is crumpled piece of plastic, the curved surface does not hold well for covering with anything, just like the sides of the iPhone. Plus, you handle and use the Home button the most often compared to the other parts of the iPhone, so it would get worn out the fastest if you try and protect it with plastic coverings. Best leave it as it is. you have a point. at the moment i am using SwitchEasy Colors which covers the home buttons with a plastic button of its own. and it doesn't feel too good to press. i recently bought SwitchEasy CapsuleRebel Serpent and am totally disappointed with it. i am not sure if this has to do with the gelaskin i have on my iphone but i couldn't get the Rebel to completely cover the chrome area. so now i am back to Colors while i consider another case, most probably Griffin's Clarifi. |
