wast "chloroform" some chemical that we use in bio lab ah???
i think i used it to make the frog asleep or pengsan then we potong2 him... lol.... u can try the glue... aiya i forgot laa the name... got two of it, u mix it together n it will become super strong... sorry cannot remember the name... some one help... |

yes very sure...double sided tape is enough...just clean the surface and scratch a bit la to create a strong bonding effect...but u need to know the correct one...zzz i forgot the code la...mine sudah habis. sure u could try glue. KiFuRi idea also works.
the double sided tape should be like transparent la. very strong one la. |

u can find the glur gun in hardware store ,
it looks like a gun , with 2 tube , when u press , both mix together and form a very very strong glue . It is for indrustrail usage ~ |

if u get the thin acrylic sure can use double tape la...enough edy...but if the acrylic heavy then u need to use super hot glue gun...

the best thing to stick 2 piece of acrylic is "chloroform" because the liquid will melt the acrylic and combine the 2 pieces into i joint.. and u wont see the "glue-like" on the edge...
u can get the chloroform from the shop u buy the acrylic... |

hot glue gun? doesn't it melt acrylic/polycarbonate material? now, i'm try using clear multipurpose co-polymer sealant. it strong enugh for joint my 4mm thickness acrylic chloroform is illegal to buy if u're doesn't have a valid license. even i asked da shop that bought acrylic from also won't sell it to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT6Ow_cBTps this helped me understand how to glue acrylic when i was building my xbox 360 cooling case. personal tip: be very careful when using the acrylic cement... dont b like me, i accidentally spilled some on my finger and it literally killed a small portion of my finger's skin surface. if that does happen, run your finger under water for a few minutes. the damage shouldnt go any deeper than the top layer of ur skin surface. the skin will jz be like dead hard skin and should fall off n replaced with fresh skin over a few days~ |

the strength of the glue depends on the strength you need to reinforce your casing ...
normally super glue will do .. unless you need a 2-tonne strength epoxy |
