QUOTE(prolog @ Aug 26 2009, 07:49 PM) Hi N79 gurus I bought my phone in April.. But I just realized something weird. When my phone is idle (black screen), the center button keeps lighting slightly about every 10 seconds. What does it mean? I just realized it last night when I went to bed. I coincidentally put my phone a bit far from my bed. I was wondering which object was shinning in the dark room. If you have missed call/sms, the "breathing" would be even faster. So, be on the look-out.

QUOTE(fariq_azad @ Oct 6 2009, 06:22 PM) I heard so many complain that this phone is a bit slow. has the new firmware made it faster? considering this as a gift as I like the design N79 is slow?? U must be kidding, with the new firmware, My N79 now is even speedier and works like a charm. Actually I've been looking around for a new phone for the past 1 months or so, nothing wrong with my N79, just "gatal" to change to a new phone, most probably a touchscreen phone. BUT, after doing my survey, I decided to stick with N79 for the moment, unless I want to spend RM2000 for an upgraded phone. N79 has it ALL, plus a good camera, GPS. email (push email and Nokia messaging), facebook, myspace, twitter, flickr, YM,WM, modern looking, nice size and light. I really dont know why people are so proud telling me they are using Blackberry and E-series Nokia for business/email purposes. I can do ALL that with my N79 too, no problemo. N79's camera is way better than E71 , HTC's and ALL Blackberry phones. And its symbian, where there tonnes of free software I can installed. Now my N79 is my internet radio, really loved this feature. Cheers

Did it with a heavy heart, but cant resist the temptation pf a touchscreen phone and big screen. Furthermore, the shop willing to take my N79 for RM650.00, which I think is a good deal coz I bought it for RM950 last May. However, N79 camera is much better than Omnia, but, I guess there's no single handphone that has it ALL. cheers
