QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 24 2009, 02:27 PM) guys after hard reset i find some new wordings and symbols during using wifi and browser. So maybe after installing new firmware must do reset? But i tell you my Photos still doing some weird problems. Sometimes pics become broken in All. But showing in Albums. Still some pics are pixelised and wont sharpen. view one photo, let it sharpen, then move to the next. DO this for all your photos. Then once ur done, reset your phone. It should sharpen a LOT faster after doing all that. It worked for me. Was having this problem last week. I think this problem occurs after firmware upgrade/factory settings restoration. Same problem happened to me after I did both. |

QUOTE(doomx @ Mar 17 2009, 11:58 PM) Ok i get what u mean now I believe what you're hearing is the copper connectors which connects to the X-press on covers to initiate theme changes. Don't worry, they're all like that.To N79 users, can u do me a favour? Remove yr battery and shake. Does it sounds like something is loose inside? I wonder if that is the accelerometer or what. So far that sounds is quite loud but when the battery is insert and the cover put on,no sound d. lol |

Guys, my N79 LCD just spoiled. The backlight is on but the LCD itself wont display anything. Can still hear sound and everything.
Going to send it to Nokia SC tomorrow and see how it goes. I bought it in Dec '08 so warranty is over =( Anyone have any idea how much they charge to change an LCD? This post has been edited by chinook: Feb 24 2010, 09:40 PM |

QUOTE(VeeJay @ Feb 26 2010, 04:11 PM) Thats a good suggestion...start first with the external LCD quote, and then get a quote from Nokia as well. If its not much of a difference then go with Nokia else just do it external. Good Luck. The LCD just died actually. It was in my pocket and when I took it out to read/reply an sms, it was all blank, with nothing but the keypad lighted, sound still worked. What happened? Did you drop or some mishaps? Already replaced the LCD at Nokia Care 1 Utama. Cost me RM189. |
