QUOTE(hawnauk @ May 20 2009, 01:51 PM) I think is Firmware update Over The Air... nope. 3G is for cellular - related to handphones - running from 850MHz to 2100 MHzBy the way, can someone please explain if Wifi is associate with 3G? If I have a WiFi enable phone, is that mean the phone is also a 3G? Wifi is originally developed for pc/laptops, then nowadays it can be integrated to handphones - running on 2.4GHz frequencies. although both can connect you to the internet, it is different technology |

FOTA - firmware over the air is much more safe than upgrading your firmware through NSU. Failure during upgrading with NSU (nokia software updater) is very rare.
NSU re-writes your entire firmware and formats the entire phone, but FOTA only patches the required file only. This post has been edited by kayx: May 20 2009, 03:24 PM |

Ic that's why after i update via FOTA d memory all still remain.NSU re-writes your entire firmware and formats the entire phone, but FOTA only patches the required file only. Izzit encourage us to do a soft format (*#7370#) after d update? |
