 Nokia N79 Thread V2, New Firmware v20

Hey, i wanna ask my dad is gonna buy N79 soon and i will be taking his 4gb card to swap with my N82 2gb card...the problem is if i put my 2gb card (with lots of apps installed like garmin and so on), will his new N79 see and can use garmin??? or muz re install?? and is the garmin installation file same with n82?? or diff since it is diff feature pack....

er u hv to reinstall the software lo.. hmm garmin installation is same with n82.. no compatibility issue there.. pls dun worry..

Muz reinstall?? Kae7 told me i only have to edit the SW.UNL file....and i wanna ask then other apps oso need to be reinstalled or are they juz ready to be used?? (Since they are already in the Memory card)

Nokia N79 new firmware v20.175 out for NSU and FOTA

Updated via NSU already. Got 2 extra shortcut on standby screen there - email and internet telephone. Cant tell much on performance, maybe after a few days use.

BTW email, internet telephone, and share online standby screen shortcuts all can be removed

normally,if change d card,u need to install i back...juz find da installer in file manager-card-garmin-appz-sym-res-?...k

Anyone know how to check for where is the phone made?
As i heard from my brother that if the phone is made in taiwan then the update version of firmware will compatible in taiwan version (eg it's not using pinyin in sms while using sound bo po mo fo ) so any idea on this?

er check the product code behind the battery.. the product code indicate the region of the phone.. u can google product code for n79 and then compare ur product code with it..

just bought avaxx set yesterday , rm1300

how to update to the latest firmware ? mine currently 11.049 , when i try to update it says my version is the latest .. i dont think so because the firmware date is last november 08

any help plz ?thanks
