Wow, price had indeed dropped...all the way from RM1800. WHen I bought a year ago, it was RM1100 and now 875!

Haha...i think if N900 arrived M'sia, all phone definitely drop.

The price will drop if there are newer replacement models and/or if there are other models which have almost similar/upgraded specs.

Afaik, asian countries have a law that mobile phones with cameras must produce shutter sound and beam light when recording. Dont ask me why...but this can be overcomed with changing the firmware to EURO firmwares or firmwares of other select countries.

1. With some selected countries/EURO firmware you can turn off the sound/disable it either by switching to SILENT mode or turning it off in the camera options.

2. For users who wants to have chinese language, this is a problem because euro firmwares do not have chinese language installed in them.

3. You need to change the product code to EURO (confirmed) or other countries (u need to confirm that it will turn the cam sound off). After that u update the firmware. Done.

This applies to most if not all N series and most probably with the E series & other nokia symbian phones as well.

Hey um in overall how's the phone? =) Cos I'm interested in getting this phone. Was comparing SE C903 but I'm kinda hooked on symbian now =/ Was looking at n86 but it's too exp for me. The price should be around 900 for AP right? and one last question, how do I install GarminXT? It seems to be removed from the site. =( (sorry super noob on GPS cos i've never used it before) =) thanks guys

Phone functioning quite smooth and faster performance.

N79 performs very well on daylight and on the sports mode for fast moving objects. But night shooting definitely a no no, unless closeups

how to get rid of it? at 1st i tot, my contact at simcard are full, n i delete some of not impostant people no but it still intact there.. (well same case like blinking sms logo, but i oredi know the culprit after google some info) just only this.. kinda annoying u know
