Hmm...actually i'm not really know what u trying to ask.
But i'll try out...
1) To add a new playlists go to Music player>Playlists>Options>New playlist.
2) Then u can simply add song to that playlist as ur like.
*
Ok.. what I'm trying to do is
I have put around a thousand songs in my phone..

How do I segregate songs in several play lists?

Maybe put hundreds of songs in one play list titled "Malay songs" and another hundreds of songs in another playlist.

I am putting songs into playlist one by one. It is very tiring.

Is there a smarter way to manage those playlists?

oh, but i saw n85 screen, so rich and nice in contrast, then i go see n79, i scare i regret becos of getting n85, but n79 design good
*
Well, in the end it depends on you still. n85 is slightly more expensive than n79. And design-wise, if you like sliding your phone then go for n85. If not n79. =)

That's what I did. -.- Though I could choose to throw in the artists in one playlist.

not sure if using the same cpu.. forgot and lazy to check.. but there is a real life difference when you use both n79 and n85.. can feel that n85 is much slower and lag than n79

Opps...i think the better way is u go to arrange all songs 1st in computer, then place them separately by folder....
E.g. "Malay songs" , "Latest Hitz" all song arrange and put into those folder.
After tht go to ur phone and mark all those songs in that folder to create a new playlist...
Like this will be a smarter way...and there is really no short cut rather to choose song 1 by 1 to add into playlist.

1st...although N85 is AMOLED which is called "nicer display"
In my opinion, i tried my frenz N85 and i jz feel that the colour more to orange and not so bright.
N79 have higher parity colour too...Can change cover...Longer battery for standby...

n85 color is high in contrast. like u compare normal lcd to plasma tv, u see that kind of difference. high in contrast meaning the black and white ratio is very high, u see nowadays they all wan the contrast ratio in llcd as high as possible right? AMOLED is like that. LED tv display now owning LCD as well becos of the same reason. Well, i just got my n85, gonna try it, if cannot suit it then i change n79 lolz.

Hi guys (and girls)

I'm actually looking into getting a N79 to replace w810i (about time I joined the Nokia club smile.gif )

However, my mom told me (she called up this seller she frequents) that from what she was told - out of 10 N79 (ori) owners, 8 complained that it hung easily. (Please don't ask me how accurate the statistics are! >.<)

Since you guys are all owners of N79s.. I figured that you guys would know much better. Advise please? Much appreciated!

forumers here will tell you otherwise, 8/10 have no problem.. right guys?
i don't really trust handphone shop sellers when it comes to smartphones, i'm not generalizing but not many of them knows how to squeeze or make the most out of symbian smartphones, so your mom may be dealing with one.. OR.. your mom should start to avoid the seller coz he sells a lot of problematic handphones! smile.gif

Yea!!! rclxms.gif I'm totally agree with u.
Seen i used N79 so long, it's no serious problem. Some how the "hang" problem will be solve as u had upgraded to latest firmware version.
On the other hand, all handphone shop seller will give prior to earn more profit, therefore only expensive phone model wil be introduce or said by them is perfect.

I'll suggest you to update ur firmware version to latest 1, this will solve hang problem.
If u got read previous post, u shud know that ver11.049 have a lot of problem.
In addition, "c" is for delete button, so u only can force to close apps by pressing "red button" only.

I think u shud check on settings>general>personalisation>display>light sensor (izzit in power saving mode = in lowest position)
If the light illuminate at shortest time, then u shud check on light time out, normally 15sec is enough.

thanx mate! smile.gif
