How to soft reset? Izzit off and on back the phone? if I restore phone to factory setting will it format all my application,phonebook or anything inside the phone?

hard reset-_-_in standby mode press *#7370#,estore All Ori Setting bla..bla...press YES..

After soft reset....still cant save captured picture....now dunno wud else to do....

hahaha same here , ive been using SE for the past 7 years .

when u received sms with nokia n79 , u don't who sent the message , u need to click and open . (SE will display the sender's name and phone number , no need to open the msg)

no recent list . if lets say we always send smses to 5 people , we dont have to browse the phone book looking for their name everytime when we want to send smses . SE have the most recent list .. i miss this feature

no smiley , animation with nokia . .. i have to write manually .


Is there any third party software to replace the nokia sms ? at least at par with SE .

I bought an ori, but the keypad still has 'foreign' character on the keypad. Probably chinese. Sigh, can't get a real clean one. And dictionary, also translate from English to Chinese, and it can't be deleted.

for malaysia market, the keypad must be the one with "Stroke Input" for chinese input..
that is another Dictionary can support multi languages, if don't have, you can download..

Wow quite a long time didn't log in to check...
Erm...now i think this are the model that having quite most feature with lower price.
N now the latest firmware will help a lot when u encounter any lagging o hangging...seen i tried when a hangging in music player, i can jz simply press "red button" to esc and then switch off the phone (restart it).
So will never need to pull the battery out when hang phone ^^

2) Haha...ya many nokia user hard to cope with SE and SE user hard to cope with nokia symbian seen had been a lot of changes.
3) In standby mode the time is always displayed out 1. But if u ask for how to display clock by power saver...then this are the problem, this model can't display clock o anything during power saver mode. Even u had set in setting there to show either text,clock o music player, you also will not see anything appear after u had locked keypad.
#Hope the next update can help us to improve in this section seen this are applied in almost all symbian phone#

1) I'm not sure your meaning on "if lets say we always send smses to 5 people , we dont have to browse the phone book looking for their name everytime when we want to send smses . SE have the most recent list" izzit the group list to sms straight to all those people in one shot??? If it's ;ike that, maybe you can try to set group list 1st in your contact list so that every time you want to forward o sms your friends in same msg can be done in one shot.
2) Yes...there have some 3rd party software you can install so that smiley n animation can be used in sms like SE. You can try to search in some china forumer...
and in addition, here are forbidden to talk about 3rd party software o something that are illegal...so lets all becarefull nia
