guys just asking some opinion,

what other option I can do when I was trying to take waterfalls picture...
the problem was the situation was tooo bright,

where in Aperture mode I put my F number to the max value, which is 22 or 36, and ISO 100
my shutter speed still end up faster then 1/60 (which kinda too fast for me for taking water flows picture)

so even if In shutter mode if I set to 1/5 or 1/20 sec , the F number will blink2 at max value and I will end up getting overexposed picture,

well then, whats the solution for those problem? rclxub.gif

hi, just wanna ask some opinions!
i have a200 - should i upgrade lens maybe to a 16-105mm or should i sell the body and get A700 with 18-70mm? budget got problem sikit la..tongue.gif
*
go for a700!!! drool.gif
at least it can perform better at dark situation than a200 though hehe...
35mm further wont give much zoom powa to you though.... but 200mm might be different issue tongue.gif

oh, thanks yea. btw, went using shutter priority. How to set the appature? i forgot lor. tongue.gif

well if you are capturing futsal match which is indoor activity, guess your only option is to buy flash, since indoor lighting not as good as the sun tongue.gif
but as for outdoor footbal, guess you gonna need to pump the ISO higher,

if in shutter priority mode, the cam will automatically adjust the best aperture for you, and mostly cases if you set shutter speed too fast or faster, confirm it will give you the minimum F number as possible smile.gif

better use tripod I guess..

Can you guys give me some advice on upgrading?

1) from a300 to a700 using ( SAL1870 )

2) stay with a300 but get Sigma 17-70 f2.8-f4.5

3) same with above but get SAL16105 instead of the Sigma 17-70

4) same with above but go for Tamron 17-50 f2.8

5) any other better and realistic options biggrin.gif

Would greatly appreciate all of your comments! Basically I have like RM1.5-2k budget

Currently using a300. smile.gif Thanks

If it was me, I would go for a700 IF you want better ISO performance, control, and better autofocus in the dark if dont like to use flash and dont use live view much.

or else tongue.gif option 3 since the lens wider and longer than kit lens rclxms.gif

i tried shooting the moon just now..failed miserably...sigh...

can anyone enlighten me how to shoot a mooon?

what equip do i need? 70mm enuf?
what metering?
what exposure?
what aperture?
MF or focus infinity?
*
200mm or more is better
spot meter
usually more - exposure I think tongue.gif
aperture up to you tongue.gif
autofocus at middle is enough

play with manual mode,
try to get more than 1/100 shutter speed since at zoom end telephoto will probably will cause shaky condition when hand held tongue.gif

then either play with shutter speed and aperture to get better exposure biggrin.gif
since at 0 exposure, usually a bit overexpose I think, lost some details.

usually if no clouds, the moon would be very bright, you can even snap it hand held. My moon shot mostly able to capture at 1/100 @ F7-9 I think
