manual focus?
anyway.... since you are using a300, just use the live view
no need to focus, just move your camera front and back to get the focus right
*
i did dat..but i was using tamron 90mm..couldnt reduce my aperture due to the lack of light in my room...so a very slight movement from my hand would cause it oof...anyway..would try something similiar today with gorillapod ...hope its helping =)

want to ask 1 question, at night shoot picture like fire work, we need to use very small aperture and long shutter speed right; by then camera some time will taken more 5 sec or more just to precessing and snap 1 picture, then if we attach with external, does it help to reduce the camera snap the picture with the same configuration  hmm.gif

thx in advance notworthy.gif
*
erm..external wad???flash??i don think flash helps in fireworks..correct me if im wrong sweat.gif

yaya external flash. if not the time to snap 2nd pic, all fire work might habis liao
*
hmm...in that case..use the black card thingy to shoot 1-2 'shot' from the firework in 1 picture? anyway..don think u could catch every single shot...guess we hav to sacrifice sometimes?

ryzan76: product photography is all about lighting and the placement of the product. Depends on what are u shooting, what i mentioned are the most critical part of the photography. Here's my example of product photography using 2 different lighting:

btw, since u wanna shoot the box of the F58, i suggest u to put the actual product and the box side by side. smile.gif

does the tamron need adaptor, how bout focussing and etc?....is this a attach and u r ready to shoot lens?..sorry for the newbie question.
*
no need adaptor...focusing wise..it has 2 mode..1 is full range..1 is limited range(faster)...but 99% of the time im using manual focusing bcoz both full and limited the speed is tooooo slow.. smile.gif

somehow i got the impression that if i have a f2.8 lens, i wont need a tripod to take night shots..is that true? tongue.gif and does focus system improve with a better lens? able to detect dark subjects better? smile.gif
nt really true la...i use tripod even with F1.4....sometimes u need 3~10sec exposure..cant do it without tripod

im nt sure whether good lens help to detect farker subject..but im sure that some lens has better/faster focusing speed, however the price/speed ratio might nt b justifiable whistling.gif
