QUOTE(chiggy @ Feb 11 2009, 02:33 PM) manual focus? i did dat..but i was using tamron 90mm..couldnt reduce my aperture due to the lack of light in my room...so a very slight movement from my hand would cause it oof...anyway..would try something similiar today with gorillapod ...hope its helping =)anyway.... since you are using a300, just use the live view no need to focus, just move your camera front and back to get the focus right |

QUOTE(jimlim007 @ Feb 11 2009, 08:18 PM) want to ask 1 question, at night shoot picture like fire work, we need to use very small aperture and long shutter speed right; by then camera some time will taken more 5 sec or more just to precessing and snap 1 picture, then if we attach with external, does it help to reduce the camera snap the picture with the same configuration erm..external wad???flash??i don think flash helps in fireworks..correct me if im wrong thx in advance |

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Feb 11 2009, 09:05 PM) ryzan76: product photography is all about lighting and the placement of the product. Depends on what are u shooting, what i mentioned are the most critical part of the photography. QUOTE(sidewinderz @ Feb 12 2009, 02:33 PM) somehow i got the impression that if i have a f2.8 lens, i wont need a tripod to take night shots..is that true? nt really true la...i use tripod even with F1.4....sometimes u need 3~10sec exposure..cant do it without tripodim nt sure whether good lens help to detect farker subject..but im sure that some lens has better/faster focusing speed, however the price/speed ratio might nt b justifiable |
