Newbie here, A200 + Kitlens. Attached are my recent hanoi trip. Condition wasn't exactly clear. Kind of smog+mist+pollution+hazy condition, The pagoda(at the centre of hoen kiem lake) is taken with 75-300mm from far far away from the other end of the lake, around 200m ?

Constructive comment/advise appreciated. No photochop effect, all straight from cam, resized only.

catgado : just use irfanview...u can batch resize while setting ur own quality....just put 100%....

im using vso image resizer.. set IQ to 100% as well

u should have use higher aperture value for scenary/landscape to make it more sharper..

mm wait..weird..if i resize it with Microsoft Paint, it looks sharper than with 3rd party image resizing with 100% quality. let me attach this sample. noticed the detail diff on the sail of the junk?

yeap tats y, felt irfanview gives a 'softer' image, less harsh than paint. err or did i not do it correctly?
i guess these are the normal procedure for those who's resizing and hosting them up?

u can still tweak the options in irfanview...u can adjust the sharpness and all that...even u can auto-adjust colour and many more....

Minolta 50mm f1.7 first try...not sharp any comment?

try using f 2/ f2.2 =)....well...look at ur bokeh ....tats where 50mm 1.7 stands out...
