Nokia "shipped" 1 million units, not "sold".

Big difference there lol

Nokia seem to be hitting our news section today quite hard. They have just announced that the millionth Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is on its way to the stores.

In an attempt to turn their back to a financially unfavorable year, Nokia announced that their first mass market touchscreen handset 5800 XpressMusic is getting a really warm welcome at its launch n the UK, but even more it coincides with the first million of units sold.

Currently, the most popular phone in our database, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic may be getting a a hearty welcome in the UK where it costs only 249 GBP (around 265 euro) but in the other European countries its price tag is way different closing 400 euro.

do you try it..???

3 to 4 hours quite short for long distance,... unsure.gif  unsure.gif
*
if long distance, just connect to car charger.

the time is just estimated, the last time i'm using N82(1050mah battery/dual cpu(arm11)/2.4 inch display) from
9am(fully charged) and went flat out at 12pm continuously-forgot to use in car charger....smile.gif

even standalone GPS device does not last more than 4 hours on battery power..

Sensei,

My friend brought a red 5800 from Comsat and I think he have the earpiece problem and sometimes it auto shut down prob too. Where to send to Comsat or Nokia Care to solve this prob. Anyone encounter sending their to Comsat to fix this prob and how long does it takes or pay how much at Nokia Care?

Thanks
*
Comsat not authorised so you can't go to NCC, just ask them just now that they are reluctant to service AP set even though you pay, and if they do accept they will not warranty the new earpiece.

How much did you friend buy the 5800?

Anyone found out what GPS chipset is in our 5800? Just curious and can't seem to find anything yet from Googling.
Does it matters? As long as it locks on fast and accurate,
My previous Asus P320 has a great chipset but when i use, pass a junction oredi then baru ask me to turn.........
Get what i mean....hehe
