do you guys know anyone selling good case for the 5800?
dont want things like "silicone case" lol, haha..

btw the OVI Suite sux like hell... lagging alot.. haha..

another noob question..

which folder should i put my mp3? >_>
my mp3 are mostly sent by my friends through BlueTooth.. all saved into attachment, but the problem is, my music player can detect the files -.-

how? =.=
*
Well actually I can't remember where my phone keeps music files when I Bluetoothed them from friends. But It seems that whenever I refresh the library it can be found. Try finding some settings to allocate received bluetooth files.

And yes OVI suite sucks. Tried Music Manager 2.0 that came with the lastest PC suite I downloaded off Nokia's website, that one crashes sometimes and corrupts my library.

Manually put in all the music can ah? Like make my own folder in the memory card(in mass storage mode) and copy the files in that folder. Sorry, this is my own n00b question coz I've never done this before and the music transfer software(Ovi and Music Manager) both fails.

Hmm, it seems putitng in music in mass storage is waaaaaay easier. laugh.gif
I already edited my music with Audioshell tag editor. So eventhough the music names are weird, it always appear correctly in the phone. With cover art and everything.

Just an info for some. wink.gif wink.gif No need to use them annoying OVI or Music manager.

Oooh, found one interesting thing.
Anyone remember who posted that his phone's screen turns purple when charging in offline mode? Anyone found what the cause is?

Coz I just had that. I found out that when I turned off my phone, plug in the charger without turning it on, the phone detects the charger. After that I switched it on(the charger) and those purple lines appears and the screen becomes progressively dark, from top to bottom. Then I tapped the screen and it was all back to normal again.

maybe it's in the method of charging and not a bug of the phone.

Oh well, I'll try it again. tongue.gif
You guys wait and I'll confirm. laugh.gif

Ok got it.
And yes confirmed I got it to happen again.

But sorry the method was a bit different. I tried the previous one and it didn't happen.
However I turned the charger on, then off, then on again and wait for the screen to automatically dim. That's when the line came out.

I'm guessing it can come out in several ways.

this happens to quite a few lcd products i have when power is cut off/on suddenly....so wouldn't exactly call it a defect.

Ya, just found out.
So for the guy who posted that screen thingy in V6, no problems! biggrin.gif

How did I manage to make it happen with my previous method though? hmm.gif

Check your IMEI on the phone(take out your battery and you should see a sticker on the belly of the battery compartment, or key in *#06#). Match it with the one on the box.

Try and move the files to other places, make a new folder perhaps and store in there?
