QUOTE(Felice821 @ May 20 2009, 01:39 AM) I just paid deposit for a 2nd hand 07 1.8 Honda Civic. Really Tip-top condition with freaking low mileage. Tinted and changed leather seat. I check the tyres, its still like new! Even the plastic inside the car yet to tear off. how much u pay for it>? u get from direct owner or car shop? Now waiting for loan approve. |

QUOTE(Felice821 @ May 21 2009, 07:10 AM) No! Current price for 07 FD1 is around RM94k-RM95k. I bought this a bit more expensive because its tip-top condition and freaking low mileage. So i can save some money to change the 4 tyres. u got the car already? or waiting for loan approval. share us some pic of your new ride okay?? |

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Nov 1 2010, 01:33 PM) ![]() so i got my tyres balanced and aligned this morning. only managed to drive up to about 130km/h, but i could definitely feel the difference. no longer feel such major vibrations. brakes still feel off, so will get them skimmed; hopefully by this weekend. |

problem i face previously was exactly the same as u. braking at high speed vibrate very rough and got sound and steering tremble.
u know what, honda quote me RM 550 for merely 2 pieces front brake pad and with installation. during the service, honda told me my front brake pad cannot use exceed the next 5k milleage. but i insist do not want to change as i havent hear any sound when braking so i used another 7k milleage end up recently go change, when i took out the brake pad and see, the brake pad still thick enough and probably left 40%. i wonder why honda ppl told me my brake pad is gonna finish which cannot use more than 5k. apparently the ppl there is not concern enough, they juz service our car blindly and they do tremendous profit. i go to quicksafe USJ to install a better front brake pad only RM 300 with installation, at the shop they are also selling honda ori brake pad at RM 280 include install. erm i dun think changing brake pad will void the warranty, can anyone member confirm this? Btw, honda civic hybrid is now RM 109k. Excited or sad? any members viewpoint? |

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Nov 16 2010, 01:23 PM) at the end of the day, i suppose you just have to be very careful where you park your car. where you fix the #2 and 5? at honda SC?anyway... no more vibration at speeds or juddering at idle in my car anymore. so far: 1. balancing & alignment done 2. changed brake pads 3. skimmed disc brakes 4. spark plugs changed 5. engine valves adjusted very happy overall with the results. especially when the final cost was rm0.00 (for #2 - #5)! |
