Hey guys, just for a quick assurance from you guys on civic2.0 quality. I have gathered some complains over few forums that, the most common complained issues on the car is:
1) Minor rattling (depends on which part), especially to car after 2 years old. 2) Poor NVH 3) Bumpy for the rear passenger especially on long drive I am comparing the car to Altis at the moment and I hope you all can help me. Thanks. |

Thanks. But my friend who owned a Lancer GT made a remark that the Lancer has poorer NVH than Civic FD2. Of coz, the rear ride comfort is not as good as the Altis, but i would say its pretty standard ride quality for today's modern car which has low profile tires with bigger rims and has a more edge towards handling for the Civic. I do not know what is the level of your taste/tolerance towards NVH and ride comfort, but to me the Civic is oredi way too comfort for my taste. As for the minor rattling sound, sometimes its luck, heck, even my friend's Lancer GT, Alfa Romeo 147 and VW Golf GTi has some sound here and there. |

ya fd2 facelifted very comfy too. i was driving vios before and the noise from outside is so loud. but fd2 is really quiet except for the bumps bcoz civic is the sport sedan. the better the absorber or suspension the more bumpier it is. isnt it?

So my car has been not alive for almost 2weeks, and has been towed to Honda SC ;__;
They have came down to ECU problem as they cannot further debug the sensors as the ECU is not giving error code even with their scantools. Unfortunately the do not have OBD1 ecu lying around so i need to scout one by myself. My ECU is P27-T01. Must I find the exact same ECU model, or any manual D16 mt ecu might do the job? |
