but the Type R recaros arent too bad ler... still decent enough for daily use...not too hard to get in n out, comfortable, etc...so might as well get a pair...

id rather get a 4 door EG converted to EG9 with B16A. can get about 23-25k

that DC2 front end conversion could give u problems with JPJ. could... not too sure about this. coz its still a honda unlike proton->mitsubishi or perodua ->daihatsu conversions

decent daily driver with good fuel consumption... chassis is a nice good chassis so handling is pretty decent if running on stock suspension setup.

and its VTEC... not v-tec... not vtech... not v-tech...its just those 4 simple letters (VTEC) which u can see everywhere and people still add characters to those 4 letters....

not all VTECs are performance VTECs... theres more to just performance for the VTEC system

engines like the D15B the VTECs are meant more towards fuel consumption with a slight increase of power.

if performance is wat u want... u need to look at the DOHC VTECs... not SOHC.

especially the B and K series. H n F are also pretty good engines though not as popular as the B n K series


and original EG9 comes with B16A...so yes to ur question

i hardly think the B16s are "KING"s of B series....

the B18C Type R is a better platform (no replacement for displacement)...even the B18C GSR is a very good platform even with its slightly different head configuration.

and lets not forget the B20B hybrids.

and FYI.. Hondata can only be installed onto OBD1 ECUs... aka EG ECUs
