Anyone mind to share their current fuel consumption for FD1 ?

I have been checking out mine for the pass 3 weeks.

Average fc is at around 9km/l

RM50 RON95 petrol (shell, petronas, esso) all getting around +-230km

(100% KL city driving, with traffic jam in the morning and evening during weekdays)

u need to import it as well? why is it only the rear window expensive? what about the other window? u talking about the rear windscreen or side window? the rear windscreen is a big pcs tho..
*
vision motorsport claims they have enough spares to build a car.
but since i haven't bought one from them i can't verify this claim.
the rear windscreen i don't think you can get it anywhere else but honda.
it is a curved C shaped glass.
worst come to worst u can always get some sort of replacement for flat glass as long as you have the dimensions but a curved one i dun think many local glass makers can do one for you.

Normal-lah because you 100% city driving & no highway at all.

My 5 yrs old FD1 also likedat since day 1

100% city ~ 9-9.5km/ltr
50% City/Highway ~ 10.5-11km/ltr
80/90% Highway ~ 13-14km/ltr

Anyway..My 5 yrs babes already sold haha...Kenot resist the temptation from Korean Sonata blush.gif ..Now worry about future 2nd hand value cry.gif

Oh BTW, FD2 also having almost similar FC as FD1..not to be alarm..lotsa testing & comparison done in the 8thGen Civic club Malaysia http://eightgc2.forumup.com/

FD1 & FD2 FC almost similar biggrin.gif

Type R the front part you change whole bumper and sacrifice your foglamp... While Mugen front part is only a add-on just like the side and rear skirting.
For bodykit expert and best price, go GC Motorsport... They are expert in all FD bodykits.

If you can stretch your budget, go for Mugen RR bodykit.

aiseh a bit late to recheck this forum...i did go for the type R, but i did told them i dont want to change front bumper, so they didnt change the front bumper, but attach "front skirt" or what ever the term is...pretty neat from my view.... will post photos once ready....

i wish i can go to the shop reccomended by lots of forumers here,GC Motorsport, but, its kinda hard as im in perak, plus my town , hard to find reliable resource info...

Humming sound = wheeel bearing. I already changed the rear side (both side) within 3rd yr of ownership of civic FD1. Currently front wheel also started making noise ..lucky i already disposed it..haha
