Can I bring in my car to do alignment ?

Retards at old klang road service center cant even get alignment done properly

my fd2 steering needss me to counter steer to the left a bit if i wnat to go straight. knn.

irritating me like hell.

Since alignment doesn't affect warranty, tak payah lah do at SC. Some SCs don't even have the equipment, so they "outsource" to next door tyre shop also.

Might as well you go look for your own tyre shop that's reputable. I don't know your location, but some guys at 8GCC swear by QuickSave USJ 7. You can give them a try.

USJ7 Quicksave not bad as by 8GCC... But the best is still at Old Klang Road there, near the japanese restaurant. The Michelin shop after BHP.

Kee Hin at Old Klang Road(towards sunway), it has big Michelin signboard..
I only go there for alignment of my FD and EG.
As market price for tires at old klang road is not cheap
(if u r looking to buy tires, head to jln kapar, klang or rawang),
but the alignment done by the uncle at kee hin is one of the better ones...

sometimes u need to do some homework b4 getting your tire changed, etc.
some place famous for good workmanship for alignment, etc, while others good for cheaply-priced tires(but the alignment sucks-since its cheap)
....u cant mixed both together sometimes.

hello. need to check whether this is the case with other latest generation civics.

recently, i noticed that when i brake hard on uneven roads i.e potholes, manholes etc, i can feel the braking/vibration effect on the car's brake pedals. in addition, i get the feeling that the car will skid frontward if i continue to apply the brake to a stop (havent happened yet as i didnt yet to have to apply emergency brakes) and this only happens when i brake on uneven roads. (not emergency braking, just harder than normal braking).

Have heard complaints about civic's brakes. Is this sympton normal with the car i.e civic manufacturing defect or something is wrong with my car's brakes?

Difficult to say since need to experience, but it does sound like the ABS kicking in, which is a good thing. Normally got this kind of sensation if ABS activated, and I think this happens often over potholes and uneven roads.

civic has VSA, ABS, BA, EBD and your "problem" is the result of these technologies helping you not to crash the car nod.gif

WTA, is it possible to install an additional siren to my FD?
Current stock alarm system does not give a sound whenever we lock or unlock the door.
My wife finds it irritating to need to walk all the way back to the car just to check if the car is locked...lolz...

Anybody done this before? Installing an additional aftermarket siren..

Please share where and how it is done ya...thanks

I bet it is just personal perception but I'm totally agreed with him, I like to have my car lock and unlock silently.
I'll normally go very near to my car (even holding the handle) then only I press on the unlock button, I feel safe by doing this, at least for me.
Also, when I get out from the car, right after I pressed on lock button, I will definitely test my car whether it is lock or not before I walk off.
And I think that's why most of the car manufactures now came out with something called "key-less entry" or "smart entry" plus "push start button".

Nice thread, i do not own a civic, however i see many civic with 'red' Honda logo on road, are they real civic type-r or they just put it on. Since on the first post, the type-r is only in Japan? or the type-r is available here too?

It is proven... And the City you refer to is old model...

Type R is available in Malaysia, Malaysia is the only country lucky enough to officially have JDM Type R...

My CIvic Encounter this problem as well.. when i first complain, they said put out the "air" of the brake, then ok liao.. but after that the problem encounter again, and i make a complain again.. surprisingly.. they changed my Master Brake Pump @.@" after changed the master brake pump, now everything seems working fine.. This is my experience, i dont know your situation is it same as mine?

My Alignment also got problem leh. @.@" complained 4 times jor.. if BroSP said so, which means i need to go to the Old Klang Road that shop and give it a try jor @.@"

i got 1 problem here, my aircond ho.. sometimes cold, sometime will come out air geh wo.. is it normal? Temp is 25, and wind is level 1 only, on my 5k service, i did complain to the SA, but they call me to try another 5k 1st, on 10K service only see how? is it that's the procedure? then on 5k service, they release all my gas and refill and reset the aircond system, on that day itself, everything is working fine, but now, the problem occurs back again.. this really irritating me!
