I left Digi bcs Digi sucks.

I was really surprised that U mobile got signal in areas where I cannot get signal when I was using Digi.

The other day I tested speed test on my Galaxy Nexus inside Summit USJ G floor near the escalator. I managed to get 12mbps download speed while Digi the best that I can get is around 1mbps.

So far I am happy with U mobile.

What u will get with U28 is 1GB data and 300 sms only. The rest will be Pay-As-U-Used. Use more, pay more than rm28.

yes, in fact roaming on maxis 2G is already possible

here are the GSM and 3G network search results

of coz it will follow maxis's coverage instead of celcom. u dont have to select anything, it will automaticlly done for you . U Mobile ur refering to is the 3G. if it is on 2G/EDGE, it will show as umobile2g. btw im using iphone 4.

under GSM, umobile2G = Celcom and U Mobile = Maxis 2G

under 3G, U Mobile = either the real UMobile or Maxis

this is all quite confusing as in future we will not know whether our phone is tuned to the real U Mobile or is roaming under Maxis 3G

however, if you do manual search and select network, then the real UMobile is of course the Home network (see my pics above from this morning's post and you will see the house icon in the 3G network list)

having said all that, i believe the network name shown is dependent on phone model - some older or simpler phone may show Celcom or Maxis directly

I am trying to make a huge decision to port my DiGi Ambassador number to U Mobile postpaid. How's the customer service record for U Mobile?

The U Mobile cust service really LOUSY than other telec. Call to U Mobile Customer service need to wait around 5 minutes to 10 minutes. Every time I call almost wait so long time, really EPIC Fail!! 

Asking about the problem of *118# U Mobile Menu for check usage Free Call and sms, appear "System Error Occur, please contact cust service".

Once reach their cust service, they also don't know hw to do. They ask me back.. "How should I do, my system here cannot retrieve, something wrong".. Walao!!!  Who is the customers, who is the operator o??

2 years for your contract? Urs is postpaid, is it? Hahaha, this is because you write the email and sound like very fierce, that why they will FAST reply you. Otherwise, they will reply your email at least 3 or 4 days~

Actually, since U is now on Maxis, the only thing left for you is celcom. Suggest getting a prepaid from Celcom and testing the data coverage. Maybe your outskirt really too outskirt until tak da any coverage for any network?

If area covered by Maxis and your U don't have coverage problem is your phone settings wei.... got enable roaming tak? U uses Maxis 2G AND 3G whenever out of U coverage area.

Using data at Genting Highlands..the signal keep changing H,E,G...but coverage there really slow..open data roaming nothing happen..haha
