Hey, just to check whether UMobile is using Celcom line? If it is, they should share similar coverage right? Then, what's the benefit of buying Celcom over Umobile? Celcom's web surfing faster?

Umobile 2G uses Maxis network

3G abit complicated ... maybe can google "multiple operators core network" for better explanation if you wanna know
3G using their own core network .... but coverage depends on Maxis at certain area ...
but Maxis 3G coverage =/= umobile 3G coverage
some ppl claims that umobile speed will be slower at these area

Maxis introduced LTE recently and most users that are in a LTE enabled location can log onto LTE via a Nano sim , by using iP5/Lumia920 and LTE modems.

Umobile will launch LTE soon, we also foresee that LTE will be enabled on Nano sim as this batches of simcards is the latest simcard that can support LTE ( just a speculation )

If you are not interested on LTE, just forget it. smile.gif

So the nano sim now is already made LTE-enabled? If not, no point buying a nano sim as well right?

Hey guys I just subscribe to U Mobile yesterday (26/5) and the service in only available today (27/5). May I know how does the proration work? I subscribe to U28 plan. So how many GB and sms is bundled in this month usage after prorated? And how much do I need to pay at the end of this month? Thank you.

1.His worker wrongly mnp to postpaid as I told him I want prepaid
2.Then delay again as his company got problem
3.Then still delay as he is so busy
4.Then I was told that I got option that is use the postpaid 6 month then change to prepaid or change to X.O.X then mnp back to u mobile but I choose he second option as I want it fast
5.Now still delay as he said due to I use or bla bla ( starting to get bored hearing excuse )
6.Latest was told my mnp hang in system

Dafuq.....I advise if you want to MNP please just go to U Mobile center rather then use this guy service.

You get 1 GB from now till 31st May (no prorate for data) but prorate for the free SMS, so 4/31 x 100 free SMS to U, 4/31 x 200 free SMS to non-U.

Payment would be 4/31 x RM28 + 6%. I think also got additional RM10 one-time fee or something.

Hi
May I know how to request for first time password to login to u-mobile personal account online?

The first time login link apparently leads to password recovery rclxub.gif

For me, when I change to Umobile, they sent me password via sms but I didn't see that sms. So I just click that forgot your password and they will send you new password. Just try nod.gif

Wow, thank you so much! You responded faster than their staff! (They still didn't manage to give me an answer until now) smile.gif Luckily didn't go spam message to friends sweat.gif Oh I guessed that's the advance payment (It's rM28).

By the way, is there anyway to keep track of sms usage? or voice call usage? Thank you! biggrin.gif
