i just bought SG 500gb last month.. but with AD15 firmware, this also effected? very scare la now..

yes, what is cold boot...? after reading this make force me to find backup as soon as possible..

if i update the firmware, all of my data will erase or not?

why they acting like that, very unprofessional.. after this no body want to buy seagate product.

so the conclusion, there is no proven solution for our firmware problem

lol.. , good also.. so i don need to buy WD after this for replacement, they already do it for us..

same with me.. but since i bought this HDD, there is something noise with this HDD and after i read all of this make me..

last night there is backout (few second) at my home, so my pc off and on again.. at first my pc hav some problem to boot, not detect the HDD. i try twice and still cannot boot.. after some time i let it off and switch on again, luckily it boot like normal again.. but it maybe a sign for my HDD will die soon.....

so now the new firmware can use already? i will try it tonight..

i also already update the new firmware.. it works so far..

anybody encounter problem with new firmware yet? hopefully it the end for seagate problem.

my hdd start making "clicking" noise...
