Applied online to port from hotlink to digi on thursday(19th Feb) at around 11pm

Next morning(friday 20th Feb) at 9am got a call from digi to confirm my port in request

On Saturday(21st Feb) at 12.30pm got my sim card from City Link. Called digi at about 1pm. Line activated before 7pm

If only maxis was as efficient as digi, I may have stayed on laugh.gif

ive downloaded ebuddy
is it supported for this service?

from the FAQ it seems that you'll need to use the client provided by digi themselves

thanks for informing about it biggrin.gif

kinda curious on what this line in the FAQ means and how its implemented:

"18.Why can't I download the application into my phone even though the model is supported?
You might not be able to download the application if your handset is not an original handset."

if anyone is on an n95 and cant get it to work, try this :

1. pm'ing me for the jar file
2. get another friend with a phone that works with this service
3. install the jar file in your n95
4. put your sim into the other phone and subscribe to the service only
5. put your sim back into your phone
6. WIN

not sure if it works with other phone models, therefor i'm specifying n95 only. but if you're willing to try, be my guest, but dont hold me liable if it doesnt work

It should prompt you to choose an access point.

what i see here is digi will charge you when you're in the prcess of signing in..... when u launch the application and after u submit ur logon id and password, you would send it to the internet so that you are able to login to ur WLM... DiGi will charge you for this process...
*
really ? i havent paid a sen for using the service since subscribing to it. not even data charges

I'm still scared that DIGI will charge when I minimize the windows live messenger and continue doing other things on my phone. If it's truly unlimited for RM3, then it's theoretically possible for me to be online 24/7 on MSN for RM3, right??? The RM3 covers sending as well as receiving messages on MSN right?
*
yes , the rm3 is inclusive of the data charges . i even tried sending a 150KB file to another friend of mine, not charged for that even laugh.gif

waa... is it true just RM3 in 2 month?
*
eh , nono

its rm3 a month . but currently theres a 2 month free period. so you can play all you want for this 2 months without having to pay a sen

I just checked with the unbilled transaction, I was actually charged for accessing the wap link...

I tried the link twice and my phone is still not compatible...

1  14/03/2009  21:38:42  1176  digiwap  DiGiWap  GPRS  0.10

2  24/03/2009  21:02:43  2376  digiwap  DiGiWap  GPRS  0.10
*
its only free once you subscribe for the msn service and use the msn application. other than that, you still pay for any wap usage
