i just switch my maxis to digi since yesterday....
forgot to ask the dealer when will refund the deposit...
may i know when can recieve the deposit from maxis?

I've switched to Digi too, about a a week ago. The deposit according to maxis will be sent to your address in a cheque after 2 months. LOL wonder why they take that long to refund the deposit.

LOL its indeed very expensive to call from overseas, same for maxis, the best way is to use roam *111 to call malaysia. But the thing is not everywhere in china you can use the roam 111 feature...only at certain cities. I`ve experienced that with maxis and now i think i`ll experience the same with digi. Any digi users roaming overseas available to use roam 111 feature?

Btw, for prepaid users while roaming, will they be charge when receiving sms? I`ve called digi centre and they say for prepaid users they will be charge rm0.99 for each sms received. Thats freaking lot....can someone clarify this..couldnt find international rates at digi`s website. Info there seems very vague. All i found is a table with zone`s and rates in it. But no description for the zones.

Thanks.

I just called digi customer service again...this time they tell me that for prepaid users, while roaming internationally wont be charge for receiving sms but will be charge for sending sms back to malaysia, if ure in china you`ll be charge rm2 per sms for prepaid users. For postpaid users its rm0.99.

As for the roam 111 i think they also cant explain why in some areas you cant use that feature. its i think available as it is basis.

sigh.

If I'm not mistaken receiving SMS does not require you to pay any charges. For calls yes both parties will be charged.

yeah just called digi again they say receiving sms no need to pay any chargers while roaming for postpaid and prepaid. Sending sms while roaming is rm0.99 for postpaid and rm2 for prepaid if ure in china.
