For normal users, you can change your number for RM50. For Ambassador, I need to confirm again whether you can change or not. smile.gif

Just walk in to any DiGi dealer. I can't sneak into their system them I'm at home. Need to wait till one of the staff go for break. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(xcen @ Jan 25 2009, 12:45 AM)
Why everybody seem to like DiGi postpaid more than prepaid? Am I missing out something here?

I'm a light user that uses RM20-RM35 per month btw. So I thought prepaid would suit me in the beginning, but was puzzled when so many people wants postpaid.
*
Could you briefly describe your usage pattern?
Call / SMS more?
Calls more to local numbers or overseas?
Calls more to DiGi number?
Calls more to the few same person or not fixed?

Wan to ask as I'm now using digi postpaid but it's a supp line.

I'm interested to change my current line to a principle 1 and make another supp line.

So would any1 enlighten me on this matter about the monthly fees and all kind?

Forgotten to add in. I'm interested with the 1-Family plan.
*
Wait, why do you want to make your current line as another new principle line? If you just want to enjoy free calls between your current line and your current main line, just make sure your main line is on either DG50, DG150, DG250 plan and you must be on 1Family plan

Yes, that's the way. And I doesn't want the bill on them. smile.gif
*
If that's what you want, you need to bring the main line's owner to the nearest DiGi Centre to separate ya line into another principle.

Alternatively, why don't you just create another supplementary line under the same account and request for separate supplementary account? Doing so will still enable free calls between you and the main line and also you can choose to send the bills separately to each of the line's owner. The main line won't get barred if the supplementary didn't make payment. smile.gif

i'm awaiting for it too...

anyway, which supplementary plan is worth taking ar? user never sms, only voice calls basicly (my dad) and hp is a basic nokia 3310... which wud be a better plan tat suits him?

well, the cheaper the better as i'll be the one paying for the bills...  blush.gif
*
Just get him a DiGi prepaid and subscribe SuperSMS first, then set you as his FnF. Observe his 2months usage pattern then only decide. If the monthly usage more than RM30, then only convert to postpaid. Else just stay with prepaid. smile.gif

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 25 2009, 10:27 PM)
I don't think this plan is still available for new applicants. smile.gif
All new postpaid applicants are  being introduced to DiGi Postpaid I Heart Savings. smile.gif
*
It's still available for new signups. For supplementary you can choose either Family Basic(RM10 monthly fee) or 1 Family(RM30 commitment fee)

anyway, happy chinese new year to everyone! gong xi gong xi...  party.gif
*
If his monthly usage is around RM30, perhaps you should register him as your supp line under 1Family plan. Alls calls / sms / mms between you and him is FOC.

On top of that, if you want to save up more, just signup for AutoBilling and you'll get rebate of RM5. Want more? Request for Separate Supplementary Account and signup AutoBilling for both to enjoy RM5 rebate each line. smile.gif

Yesh

and, if my supp line a/c is under the same billing as i do, do i entitle for RM10 or juz RM5?
If you didn't request for Separate Supplementary Account, you are only entitled for RM5 rebate. If you did, you'll get RM5 for your account, and another RM5 for your supp line. smile.gif

*
Yesh, once your supplementary line is active. You can just call in to request for separate supplementary account if you are the main line's owner. No it's FOC.

QUOTE(uhlaw @ Jan 26 2009, 12:28 PM)
The rebate is for 1 plan and 1 family plan?
*
Any Postpaid Mainline's plan are entitled to get RM5 rebate if you sign up for AutoBilling smile.gif

QUOTE(uhlaw @ Jan 26 2009, 01:25 PM)
Is the rebate work like this?

RM50 1 plan + RM30 1 family supplementary - RM5 rebate (Main line) -RM5 rebate (Supp line) = RM70

Correct me if I'm wrong.

What is the condition for rebate?
*
If you request for Separate Supplementary Account. Each of the line in your account is entitled for RM5 rebate.

If you didn't request for Separate Supplementary Account, you only get RM5 rebate even though you have 6 supp lines.

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 26 2009, 03:14 PM)
Yes you can request for a separate account but I can't confirm with you if there will be any charges for this.
*
No charges.

It doesn't matter if the free unlimited calls/SMS/MMS is utilized or not so as long your dad does use at least RM30 a month then the 1 Family plan is still worth the money.

Yea, the Free Calls/ SMS / MMS is just a bonus biggrin.gif

guys... just checked on digi site... family basic the rm10/mth is access fee, right? and every rm use is what i pay on top of rm10, right?
For Family Basic. You just add RM10 on top of your usage.

QUOTE(ejen @ Jan 26 2009, 08:33 PM)
the 1 family plan is rm30 which is what i need to pay every month no matter i got use it or not, right? that's my minimum pay and if i use over rm30 and i will need to pay how much i've used? correct?
For 1 Family, if you use less than RM30, still pay RM30. If you use more, just pay accordingly.

QUOTE(ejen @ Jan 26 2009, 08:33 PM)
do correct me if i'm wrong... dont what get confuse on the plan and want to have a better understanding before signing up my dad on the supplementary plan... it's also got switch him over under my main line... that wont be any problem hor?
*
How about try using 1Family first? Give it a month trial then if you feel that your that don't need that just call in to change to Family Basic. You can change anytime you want. Changing plan is FOC unless you are bound by contract cheers.gif

QUOTE(8u8u @ Jan 26 2009, 08:35 PM)

As far as I know, as long as the call is answered you will be billed. Remember, unbilled amount is the gross estimated charges. I don't really rely much on it biggrin.gif

I need help here, really need help!

I am using prepaid and my gf too. We are happy with the current friends and family rate, we know we can't sustain the payment long but we can meet up almost everyday, so there is not much worry. She did call me for 2 hours a time, but just once in a while.

I am a noob in mobile service, so i do not give a daxx on the rate etc, until yesteday.
I called her using Skype and end up she lost RM150 credit...the reason is she is in China and using roaming service, incoming/outcoming call both RM3/min. cry.gif
I was pretty sad, i need to know a perfect plan for us, sub line or what, i need a really good recommendation.

Please include the plan, payment, phone.no change/not....and the details.

Your help is greatly appreciated.  DIGI FOREVER!
*
Remember, whenever someone is roaming, it's always cheaper for that person to call back to you than you call to them. When they are roaming, always ask them to use the *111* code to make calls. It's a lot cheaper.

QUOTE(xxx306 @ Jan 27 2009, 08:42 PM)
yay just changed my prepaid to postpaid!

is it normal both of us to have at least RM50 inside our prepaid in 24 hours time before it changes to postpaid?
I thot i as the supplementary just need to pay RM30?
*
Prepaid to postpaid conversion requires you to have minimum balance of RM50 on each prepaid line. Once your line is converted to postpaid, whatever balance inside your prepaid will be brought forward as advance payment in your next coming bill smile.gif

the bill can pay online is it? (sorry, because this is the first time using postpaid)
*
Yesh, you can pay online. But it's always better to make payment at DiGi Centre especially when your line is barred. smile.gif

does anyone know what plan is this? i checked with *128# and it shows DYNAMIC100. my dad did it for me and he said the monthly charge is RM100  ohmy.gif
*
Dynamic 100 is an old DiGi Business Plan. You can convert it to DiGi individual plan (DG,20, DG50, DG150, DG250) should the contract is over but you must have an authorization letter to be passed to DiGi Centre. smile.gif
