Anyway I am on iPhone 3G and I still have a 3G phone (with video camera). I guess DiGi is into providing quality broadband services by using 3G. That's a good move , at least the broadband services would be good rather then if its being used for both broadband and video calls !
*
Yes, you are right. With the HSPA technology, that is indeed a good proof of DiGi's intention to provide better quality of broadband to its users.

QUOTE(roticanai92 @ Apr 25 2009, 10:36 PM)
i'm not sure bout tat.
til now no BB provider can do good in providing stable and fair line.
video calls, awaiting here...

Well, you may be wrong. At this initial stage of DiGi's broadband implementation, all it gets back are good feedback. smile.gif

Yep , I think if they allow both Video/Voice on 3G + Data. Data users are going to suffer a lot as you must understand resources are scare and bam they would have to reallocate more towards voice/video call users then data. After all lets face it , the percentage of folks would be on data would be lesser then those who would be using it for voice/video calls ! Hence you'll have a problem with data services later on as the bandwidth is being shared among data and voice users. By default , MSP prefers to allocate more towards voice users.

This is why Celcom/Maxis broadband sucks , despite the fact that you can get good signal. Try to use Celcom broadband in rural areas and you'll be amazed with 3G speeds. Try to use it in centre of KL and you'll be shocked - at times it can go as slow as 56k

I bet fruitie has experienced this before tongue.gif with her celcom broadband !

laugh.gif I had no problem with Celcom broadband because I used it at those none so urban areas. The only drawback is the petty 5GB fair usage policy. Else, I would have stayed longer.
Now contented with DiGi EDGE. biggrin.gif

I already activate super sms and i already receive 1st tier  notification .. after 12am today .. they start charging me 10sen/sms .. why ? do i need to activate it back ? kinda blur here lol
*
Err.. Did you aware that Super SMS is on daily basis?
That means after RM 0.50 worth SMS/day, you will get to SMS to any DiGi number for free. For only that day. Each cycle lasts for 24 hours. That means, everyday at 12.00 a.m. is considered as one cycle. You will need to spend another RM 0.50 to use it. smile.gif
It is already activated. You not need activate it so many times.

Congrats! Time to berbual-bual.
I don't think so, you need the careline. Alternatively, you can utilise D' Chat to ask them to change for you.
PUK code? Why do you need it? If you lost it, you can get back by calling 016-2211800.

Because you are a new user, give them a few days time to store your information into their database.
No worry, this is normal. smile.gif

About the unable to send sms problem. I had the problem once, before digi upgraded their services this time, and I couldn't sms for like 3 whole days.

Well... What I did was I went to a shop in KLCC lowest floor (don't remember name, but i know its some phone fixing shop that looked like a digi service shop, ie it was yellow in color.. lolz). Anyways~ I gave them my phone, they pressed some buttons, and told me I'll be able to use it in an hours time.

This actually happened to me twice already but both times this trick worked, So anybody having this problem and lots of free time, trying won't hurt ya?

hi...i saw this on digi's site

Super SMS™
To enjoy FREE SMS (Super SMS™), only local SMS to all networks contribute to the daily RM0.50 usage (international & Friends & Family™ SMS are not included).

so...does that mean...when i send msg to one of my Friends & Family number...even after 50 message...i still dont get free sms? does that mean i send 100msg to my Friends & Family number and i'll be changed RM1.00?

As far as I know, I thought it is counted last time.
Probably, they have changed the policy?
Anyway, where is the link that showing that? smile.gif

Yes. Super FnF for non-DiGi number is only the cheaper call rate - RM 0.15/minute. SMS is the same RM 0.10. smile.gif
Refer to this chart and look at Super FnF's column:
