Yo bros, wondering about service interval. I just serviced my car at an authorised SC last friday and the guy told me that actually service interval is 10k for campro cars and that includes CPS after the first 3 services. I haven't asked any proton SCs nor iCare.  The guy said semi-synth 10k interval. Fully synth also 10k interval coz the oil filter cannot tahan. Air filter the only thing need to check every 5k, need to change if too clogged up.

Maybe I'll call iCare later to confirm this but anyone here using fully synthetic and maintaining a 10k service interval?

Added on March 9, 2009, 9:37 pmAlso I noted that eastwest updated Waja CPS fuel consumption on the front page. I averaged 0.14+ cents per km when outstation (90%highway/out of town + 10% city driving. About 12+km/l driving the Gen2 CPS

Will update on 40% city driving + 60% highway/out of town later.
*
The service interval is always 10k km, whether u used semi or fully synthetic. Infact, most continental car can go for 20k km using fully synthetic.

feedzz, i would think the oil filter will be dirtier at 5k no matter wat sort of engine oil u use. air filters impossible to clog up so fast under 10k kms... i find it appalling to have info like tat told by SC...

Added on March 9, 2009, 10:33 pmwats the rear anti roll bar / sway bar size of our waja cps? 16mm?

interior light delay kit.

voila... ur very own ligthing project. cost wise looking at rm100-150 hehehe..

but there are other methods to reduce this as well.. so i'm looking around for the best ways to do it... normal LED strips is my choice coz the luxeon LEDS cost as much as rm50 for one pcs..... sweat.gif

Lightened my car total of 16kgs courtesy of SSR Type C replica. Taiwan made. 15x6.5JJ. 5kg each compared to stock Waja CPS rim weighing 9kg each.

The Civic FD 17" Enkei rims also same weight with standard CPS rims. Dem heavy JRD rims.

Improvements:

1. Easier to wheelspin.

2. Pick up from 3rd gear at 25km/h is much easier.

The yet to be felt are lighter steering response but I do not see much difference as when the wheel rotates the inertia takes over rather than weight.

I'm looking forward to faster pickup and better stability as the offset is 40mm thus the wheels are further apart. Total of 12mm track gain.

Is it the blue silicon wiper? Cuz my family's 2 cars all use that. I don't feel much difference, maybe last longer.
For the LED lights, where they put the switch? I rather they hook it up with the interior light dome so there's one switch and it'll look nicer too.
Pics for the rear light pls! Heheh...

I aware the standard piping is huge and all this while was roughly estimating it was 2", never knows it's actually 2.2" until u told us shocking.gif
So what is the internal diameter? 2" ?

*paiseh* I also use naked eyes to see from engine bay, just right after the flexible pipe, the size is 2.2" piping, inlet around 2.1" for galvanized steel material that most new proton using. Hope the cat-con after the header is good quality and don't clog that fast, else, FC buruk.
