I'm backkkkkkk !!!!!!! icon_rolleyes.gif wah seems after missing for about a week or two this thread very much active and a lot of new members as well thumbup.gif

Anyway... during 1 week holidays, I've travelled from BP - Penang - Kedah (Alor Setar) - Penang - BP, covers almost 1600km and on the way return to South stuck in traffic jams start from Slim River highway till Sungai Buloh and matter worst heavy down pour along the way... spent RM292 for petrol (V-power).. just do the math to figure out the FC.. but all in all driving long distance with my Waja is thumbup.gif dude.. and Hankook tires (Ventus) proven in a very wet road (drove around 140 - 160 in heavy rain).. but sad to say not seen many CPS along the way, except when I was in Penang got 1 Waja CPS (Blue Agate) on the way to Batu Ferringgi..

Other than this, please add my name under Southern.. same area as jctasoga i.e. BP... tongue.gif

Just got my air filter serviced at Speedworks this morning for RM10 (last time only RM8.40, the boss said this thanks to Barang Naik laugh.gif ). Wanna do a dyno for RM100 but got other appointment. Maybe next time.

After appointment, go to RACE Glenmarie to do tyre rotation, balancing and alignment for RM100. Takes 1.5 hours to get it done as the technician kept adjusting untul he fully satisfied. The most significant result is that tyres noise is hardly heard, which is kinda strange to me as I never get this 'side effect' after doing alignment. thumbup.gif

ur boss very good to u. help u avoid tax.. but at the same time, lowered epf.. not good.. pro n cons.. sigh..

discount 3k is good offer. scar at paint can ask them to respray wan. mine was left in covered garage, they polished it and still looks new. dun be surprised, some of the new model after coming from factory also got paint issues.. just check n see.

by the way, for all the bro n sis here, i personally see those delivery guys unload new n shiny cars.. bang into each other!!! then.. the mudguard ppl said.. its normal accidents do happen, we will need to patch it up before delivery to customer only... rclxub.gif although they restore it to 0% defect... pity the new owners.. doh.gif

1) claim for front chrome bezel stain
2) steering bush claim
3) front knocking sound going over humps claim
4) paint damage on rear passenger door claim
5) wind noise in front dashboard claim
6) routine 1000kms oil etc service
2) so fast the steering bush gone? can't centre the steering after taking turns? to my experience changing another proton bush does not help cause its rubber based. i solved my prob on my last waja using super pro.

3) i hv that too. got it fixed after the mech removed the lower arm nut, regreased the whole nut plus the joint. also tightnened the engine subframe bolt, kingpin bolt, ARB link nuts, all cross member bolts including the engine mountings, ultra racing 3 point nuts and the nut near the front discs. mech mentioned some nuts were too loose from the factory. ie not tight enough.

4) i dun care that much abt paintjob as i rather prefer maintain spotless and dustfree interior and engine condition cause that's what matters if you choose to trade in your car. external paint can be fixed but internal leather is more expensive to replace or to repair.

RACE offered me a pair for RM50. The difference between the one they offered and the normally sold camber is that it has wider adjusting range. Suitable if you wanna go to Sepang Open Day . brows.gif

To adjust the camber to avoid uneven tyre wears. But IMHO is not needed unless your car has got into an accident (camber way off) or got cash to burn. laugh.gif

Most adjustable camber has lower quality than the standard one. If wanna change, better buy those branded one, but will cost more than 100 per pair.

After you change the camber, do you need to go back to the shop for re-alignment because the camber "run" out so "quickly" (dont know the exact term tongue.gif for this )?

proton sc guy(the only sc that I visited for my car service so far) dont recommend me to change to "this" adjustable camber. he say it's useless. haha. I'm "confucius' already laugh.gif

Ok, thanks for sharing.

BTW, waja cps owner, I took this sequence of number/alphanumeric from my car rim (standard, from the inside).

ET46 EJ52 07 9

Someone care to explain about this?
