My car is 2008, but the agent say the promo only 2k discount... some more he show me the stock list from proton, say very few units left only as they clearing stock and production for the Exora. Worst is that only color avl is the black one. Dunno whether kena con or not. When I take delivery will try to ask for some freebies.

Where to get R3 parts? I see can install R3 spring w/o voiding warranty. Will do if not too exp. The prices quoted here got include installation?
Also dunno the diff btw strut bars... front, back, under-arm, 2-point, 3-point... Are they exp? I only bought a RM60 one before for my mom's kelisa that connects to 2 sides under the bonnet.
Seems like so many things to mod for this car... I slowly kena poison also...

I also don't know why paultan graph is so smooth... maybe it was cause by the characteristic of the dyno machine. AFAIK, every machine will give slightly different result. And another suspect is the VIM switching at 4.8k rpm. Because the car is not moving, the air suck in is still the same regardless of the 'short or long' intake manifold.

thanks for the info. As it mentioned the Short runner suppose for high lift, but from 3.8K ~ 4.8K it still use Long runner despite already in Hig lift, probably this is the root cause.

Maybe because the car is not moving, thus air is not force into the intake. So volume of air is not enough when it switches to short runner causing the ECU to decrease the fuel in the mixture to avoid running rich... And I don't feel any lack of torque after 5k rpm when driving also.

Mod done: K&N airfilter and exhaust system.

But haltech is too expensive, and I don't plan to mod until that extend.
After 1 year standard abs usually start making weird noises..

if u take a closer look there's 1 metal clip that moulded inside, all u need to do is clamp it a bit then fix back will do.

something also dropped from my petrol port 2nd time i fill up petrol. dunno what it is and i kept forgetting to ask SC. now i already lost the clip thingy.

for the clip...just stick it with double sided tape.....wont drop d....

my wind sound have but not too loud. in fact very good compared to gen2 campro. anyway it's louder @ rear left side coz rubber @ door sort of came loose a bit now. otherwise it's acceptable la~ want quieter have to start thinking of extra sound dampening n such

All those extreme engine mods is way over my head. I guess I'll just stick to the basics for now. Drive safely, follow speed limit. Hahahaha...
lgs: your's is Waja right? I hope my car won't have so many QC probs. Really headache to get SC to fix everytime. Some more to many at once.

lgs: Mine is Gen2 auto. Arrived in hometown already, going back to collect this week. Scary lah, since your's and mine likely from same batch. Have to look out for all the things u mentioned.
I think the 1st thing to do for me is to get the PPS teflon coating thing to protect the paintjob, then only do the mods one by one.

eujinee: can work wan.. dun worry.. ask the installer to add another wire to the switch. sure can use again.

sorry to pour cold water on u bro, but it a serious fact that we cannot avoid tow trucks.

however, i hope to share my common practise of parking that will reduce the chances of tow trucks "operations".

1) when parking, always park into the bay. not ur front facing outside. below will not work unless this is followed.
2) make sure you turn your wheels at least 1 turn (left or right doesn't matter) and there is a built-in steering lock make sure it clicks. tow trucks can't tow ur car unless ur wheels are straight.
3) engage gear 1 for MT or P for AT transmission. tow trucks can't pull ur car out. they will spoil the transmission.
4) if they decided to break into ur car to disengage the transmission, u still have ur built-in steering lock there.
5) optional to add "movement" sensor inside car cabin so tat ur car will blare its siren when the car is broken via windows.
