Haha. Watched already. I still find the stunts in burj in ghost protocol more jaw dropping than rogue nation. Still a solid piece of film making especially the chase scene in morocco.

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Jul 20 2018, 10:43 AM) What.... didn't expect this. I thought it would be MI fatigue / Tom Cruise run of the mill action film all over again but no... Can help compare with die hard? Some claiming it is one of the best action films ever made? https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/articl...on-movies-ever/ ![]() ...so that pretty much means I'm in. Put the sly arnie vandam seagal aside, the best action 4 me is die hard follow by matrix. Hahahaha. |

QUOTE(Mov_freak @ Jul 26 2018, 11:14 PM) Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) Haha from your viewsIt has been suggested to me that I can be over- enthusiastic or overly-kind with my reviews or movies. Believe it or not, I have been "dialing" down my enthusiasm, in my the reviews I write. Having said that, I categorically label this my No. 1 movie of 2018. I seriously cannot think of what possible movie, that is going to be release in the near future, that can knock this movie off this pedestal. This is the sixth outing for this franchise, that seem to go from strength to strength (one can argue that the second outing is the worst out of all six). There were attempts for younger and hungrier actors to take over the mantel (main male lead, Jeremy Renner) of this movie. At 56, Tom Cruise seems.... unstoppable. This movie is shot mainly practical. And I have to add, seeing what was presented on screen, the task is Herculean, figuratively and literally. I cannot even begin to imagine how it was done, and the Cinematography Rob Hardy is as much an adrenaline junkie as Tom Cruise himself. This fast paced movie starts strong, and never NEVER lets up. The action sequence, oh my goodness, the next James Bond has it's work cut for it, if it wants to up the ante... And seriously, I cannot see how they can manage that... People who reads my mad ravings here, may know that I am really NOT a fan of Henry Cavill, and have to add, I ABSOLUTELY love him here. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I do have one tiny peeve about this movie... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Do yourself a favour. Watch this movie. My Two Sen It seems the successor has beaten the predecesaor James Bond Dont know if the younger daniel craig can do these stunts even more dangerously |

QUOTE(6so @ Aug 7 2018, 08:50 AM) Cruise and Paramount asking Chris McQuarrie to complete his trilogy of MI movies but the film director not completely on board yet. Anyway the next movie by him will be hype nonetheless. A fan of him since The Way of The Gun. the final gun fight fui yoh very close with Michael Mann gun fight in LA bank robbery in heat no surprise more movies today want 2 incorporate more realism in their action set pieces |
