Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation review! The fifth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. So far, I enjoyed this movie but somehow I find Ghost Protocol alot better. But this doesn't mean this movie is bad though. It's still good and worth the watch. The movie is about Ethan Hunt, who is being hunted by The Syndicate, a secret international criminal consortium. To make matters worst, the IMF unit was disbanded due to the events of Ghost Protocol, which the head of the CIA thinks that eventhough the unit can complete the mission, their unorthodox methods and also the damage done is far too severe, making Ethan getting no help from there and also being branded as a fugitive.
Returning characters are Benji(played by the ever funny Simon Pegg), hacker Luther Stickler(played by Ving Rhames from the previous series as well) and also William Brandt(played by Jeremy Renner). Newcomer of the series is Rebecca Ferguson, plays as MI6 double agent, Ilsa Faust. God, one thing about her is her legs. Her gorgeous, luscious long legs...*drools*...*ahem* Excuse me...
The action of this movie are fun to watch and the motorcycle chase scene was a wow. Comedy is no less either, all thanks to Simon and Jeremy, which both characters gives some comedic screen time. I like the movie, however, I prefer Ghost Protocol alot more. Worth mentioning is that the plane scene, where Tom Cruise was holding on while it was taking off and flying, that was real. It was him doing the stunts! Overall, I give this movie a good 8 out of 10.
