- china invested in this movie - i lol when i saw alibaba name in opening credit - zhang jingchu was barely there, appeared for 20-30sec - started quite fun with minsk in belarus and the aeroplane scene - luther was in malaysia? KL Tower? To hack into russian satellite? - The record shop girl: Hermione Corfield (u r welcome) - ethan in detention room in london: easy escape from the pole. Anyway it was fun to watch - flight 606 : mh 307? Haha (Previous MI has a scene with MAS billboard, was it MI2?) - no kissing scenes and no intimacy scenes unlike MI3
- opera scene quite fun - morocco underwater scene quite fun : deux ex machina - anyway just 50-50 of guessing correct security board
- Rebecca ferguson is good - Ethan as Atlee was predictable - ending was nice with bulletproof glass cubicle - "welcome to IMF, Mr Secretary" - fun ending
- no cliffhanger ending suggesting next sequel
http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/oct/0...on-impossible-5The makers of Mission: Impossible 5 will look to court the lucrative Chinese market by casting local star Zhang Jingchu in a leading role opposite Tom Cruise, reports Variety.

QUOTE(erald06 @ Aug 2 2015, 09:11 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation review! The fifth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. So far, I enjoyed this movie but somehow I find Ghost Protocol alot better. But this doesn't mean this movie is bad though. It's still good and worth the watch. The movie is about Ethan Hunt, who is being hunted by The Syndicate, a secret international criminal consortium. To make matters worst, the IMF unit was disbanded due to the events of Ghost Protocol, which the head of the CIA thinks that eventhough the unit can complete the mission, their unorthodox methods and also the damage done is far too severe, making Ethan getting no help from there and also being branded as a fugitive.
Returning characters are Benji(played by the ever funny Simon Pegg), hacker Luther Stickler(played by Ving Rhames from the previous series as well) and also William Brandt(played by Jeremy Renner). Newcomer of the series is Rebecca Ferguson, plays as MI6 double agent, Ilsa Faust. God, one thing about her is her legs. Her gorgeous, luscious long legs...*drools*...*ahem* Excuse me...
The action of this movie are fun to watch and the motorcycle chase scene was a wow. Comedy is no less either, all thanks to Simon and Jeremy, which both characters gives some comedic screen time. I like the movie, however, I prefer Ghost Protocol alot more. Worth mentioning is that the plane scene, where Tom Cruise was holding on while it was taking off and flying, that was real. It was him doing the stunts! Overall, I give this movie a good 8 out of 10. I still prefer Ghost Protocol more don't forget to check out scenes from The White Queen ... cough cough .. Rebecca Ferguson ... cough cough .....
