Getting Started

|
To make things short, my most memorable reads like millions would be LOTR, years before it became mainstream and got me off sci-fi . Another would be Raymond E.F's Magician.. ahh Pug, i rate him higher than Merlin!! Not sure if anyone mentioned it, apart from Magician i prefered Empire trilogy over his riftwars. Both i love though. My most favourite heroine Mara of the Acoma. Talk about feminism Currently, reading 4th book of Malazan Empire series. What i think about Steven E's writing and some spoilers below *ALERT*.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1st Book of Malazan from what i read in some forums is not for everyone. Took me 2 read throughs to really grasp it and it is worth it. S.E. raw and unrefine early writing makes it more enjoyable as you go along the author's skills in writing *sorry for my newbish review lol*. It's not as bad as on your first read. His way of splitting multiple events within a few pages needs getting used to Heart break moments.. man, lots of it. Coltaine.. whyyyy.. whiskeyjack..noooooo...! Anyway enjoying 4th Book now.
