lap is for improve the temp result, if ur temp is nice thn its ok to use it stock like that, if u hardworking and patient person, mayb u can try lapped it.. laugh.gif

its hard to gv u ans, depend on which hs+ proc u use, some aft lapped improve quite lot, some oni hv small improve...
so dunoe how to say, but can gv a try if u like to do... smile.gif

After u lapped the processor u cannot claim warranty ah.. Make sure ur cpu has it's warranty over by the time u try lapping.. laugh.gif

but if follow the procedure carefully i thk will be ok la...
make sure dun broke any proc pin else js cry lor~~
if wetting proc pin whn lapped oso need make sure 100% dry whn use it..

lapping ur proc is actually a big risk if u are a beginner... u need to be very2 the very patience kind of person ...
plus our proc have pins so need to hold very careful not like intel proc which dont have any pins..

yaya, untill now AMD still use pin, but intel oledi use surface mount tech since 775 socket,
so the surface mount type will more safe to do lapping compare to pin type..

in case accidently broke the pin thn will hv prob thn...
