i need some advice from otai2 here.. which one should i buy first? CCF or buy 790shipset mobo?? bcause, from what i see, 790chipset mobo, can decrease the temp of the proc.. For example, my friend use phenom 9950 on 790chipset MSI mobo, stock clock, the temp is around 43-50.. but, mine, using same proc, running on stock clock, the temp is 52-58..

What is more important?

I prefer to get CCF 1st...Mobo can wait for a newer type

i'm not otai but i think i can give a comment or 2.

u don't buy a board to to decrese d temp of ya chip. we (atleast me) buy mobo based on d overclockabily which meet our budget.

for ya case, ya chip is under utilized by ya board, but let not belittle d importance of gettin a gud cooler for ya chip (it's quite hot if compared to normal x2). w/o decent coolin ur bringin ya chip nowhere > 3.3GHz, even it's coupled w/ a gud board. so it really depends on how deep is ya pocket.

u ain't gonna put an am2+ chip onto am3 board rite bro?

u should not consider MB oni ler.. u need to see the diff between ur vCORE, and ur internal casing air flow..
this will effect ur temp..!!

for me, OC is both important, no cooler cnt OC higher, no hv good MB oso cnt go higher, both is complement among each other..!!

i dunno how to oc, i will park myself at the coolice house (specific - wall), then let u guys oc urself..
lol.. lim, u can be sales engineer after this.. i saw the potential on u..
