aik, +50mv for BE? why dont just try increase the multiplier.

mine with 5000+ (not BE) can go from 2.6 to 3.0 using power saving mode.


as it is my main mainboard (currently.. later change) this is my conclusion for voltage:

power saving mode : 1.30~1.39
standard : 1.4 ~ 1.45
+50mv : can reach 1.52
+100mv : dun dare to try

yeah, the HWmonitor software shows vary.


(all tested with ORTHOS, blend CPU and memory 100%)

how i want to know my pc stable or not??
is it just let prime95 running on my system for long time??

after choose +50mv, using hwmonitor, my vcore max is just only 1.36v.. same value also if im using cpuz

aa. prime for 1 hour try. when priming, do wPrime simultaneously to check ur RAM also.

to get stable 3ghz i try:

open ORTHOS start it
running 2 wPrime together. bench at 1024m.

i try with 231 x 13

but when try multiplier other than 13, or 232 x 13, it STUCK. LoL

(using power-saving mode)

and about vcore, i dont know mind showing the max is 1.39 if using power saving mode. and for standard, it will be at max at 1.49 (sometimes) and if +50mv, it can go >1.5v

but the current ( i mean current value) show about 1.35 using power saving mode. maybe sometimes it hike up. LoL

again, what ur current BIOS version. did try to update to latest 1? mine 0323. i guess so. but i stable with 0317 version. can go to 3.2ghz. but after updating the bios it turns i just can get 3.01

sorry for a noob question, how to look at my bios version? and how to update it?

lol. RAM separuh to KVR la. kingston value RAM. aku pun pakai tue. pernah push 451.1 mHZ. hasil nya mengkagumkan, tapi... after updating the BIOS. bye bye. now i just setting the divider to 333 mhz, with timing 5-5-5-15-21 @ 1.9v its stable with 375mhz something.

Added on February 9, 2009, 2:54 amBIOS version, at first page BIOS, look at system information below skali, then u can see the BIOS version. otherwise, install the update utility from CD bundle with mobo. u can check with it. go to my.asus.com to download new BIOS

add 50mV still 1.36v oni, thn u dunid worry to add 100mV

haha cdlim, gila! mine with standard value the HWmonitor show reach 1.49v already. try +50mv give me 1.55 headache. @ full load proc core 0 and core 1 reach 62 temp max. LoL

Trying 1.25+0.075 on x14.5...If stable might go to x15...

finaly it turns blue when running prime95 for 1 hour... why haa?? i set the freq to auto, then the multiplier to x15.. vcore i set to 1.36v.. why not stable also?? maybe about the temp??

kalau nak jual murah ram kau to bleh la bagi tau aku...

yup.. so u js pick which 1 that u feel beter..

aa no no. what is ur current freq for RAM. last time when my first try, i just get 1 hour 7 minute the stopped! that time my RAM freq is 43x something. so maybe u need to decrease ur RAM as well. set the parameter to 333.

my bios version is 0319
