Hey i realised something about sending a text to multiple recipients.
When they reply how do i know the msg is from who?
Its like i send to many ppl new year wishes and they reply but i don't know which msg is from who?
Any ideas guys?
Can't seem the find the solution in LYN and the web.

Funny - coz I always know who reply to me.

When people respond to you, you will know it's from them based on the telephone number the SMS is sent to u from. If it's in ur address book, their name will appear. It just starts another 'conversation'

Eh i recall they replied to me in the same conversation. Thats why i don't know who is it from..
Oh well..maybe its my mistake..thx.

Er.. mine's not replied in the same conversation. A new conversation starts - perhaps u could make another attempt to test it.

Hey guys..check this out..
I text my friends good luck in their finals.
And when they reply its all in the same conversation and never state from who.
Only in lockscreen there write their name but what if i don't go out to lockscreen?
And for my situation when i check my phone 2 messages arrived from 2 of my friends..
Which is which?

Hmmm ..I am using BiteSMS and yes ... i am having the same issue like you ...

It never starts a new conversation it will go into the same grouped conversation ... it only show when the message arrived... and another funny thing is when i tend to reply to that particular person only (I thought i was)... it actually reply to everyone in that grouped conversation ...

As i said the number appears if my phone is at lockscreen..
But sometimes i leave it at the conversation and the message just arrive. Then how?
Or when i leave my phone somewhere 2 msgs arrive.
Which is which?

Either use the default SMS app or use another sms called iRealSMS.

bro...i faced a prob like urs
after u send multiple smses d...go 2 inbox n delete da outgoing folder...
then reply wud cm frm da person u sent to

BiteSMS only does that ..
Plus in BiteSMS, in 2.2 .. if you enable Emoji, or will be appeared as emoji ..
Eventou they send thru other types of phones ..

But in my stock sms app, i just see the : ) in normal mode ..

try sendin a new msg, select more than one recipient
return 2 inbox n u wud see da outgoing folder

It must be the limitations of the app you're using. I use the default SMS app so I don't face the same issues. Obviously, I don't get nice emoji's (it works but it's very ma fan!) nor do I get to forward smses (which sucks actually) *siGh*

I'm having the same issue as yours too....

i think only biteSMS (which can forward sms to multiple receipents) would face this issue...

yeah but i think the way this problem for now is after sending to many ppl..
Delete the conversation and let msgs come in as new msgs.

What did the message appear as in the normal sms.app?
