I heard RB2 is out in SG for the XBOX360. If i buy it from SG, can it work on my console? Else, any idea where i can get it locally? Appreciate your input. Thanks

Anyway, yes, it can work on your console. To be more detail, our console and SG's share the same region - NTSC/J. Any NTSC/J and region free games can be played on our console.

well i just got back from sg and played it in my cousin's house while i was there (yes, her console is an XBOX360). i bought an xbox360 for the amazing list of games (alrite, shucks, for RB2 also ) but found out, to my near devastation, that it's not available here! >< *wailsssss*

Most probably it was a US console. Did you see Rock Band 2 on the shelves in the stores?

Hmm, that's odd. EA SG's site didn't list the game (only RB1). Software Boutique and Gamescore at Funan also didn't release it down on their sites.
I was there last week too and I didn't see any RB2 for 360 at shops I went.

I think your cousin's console is US region.

I hsve Rb2 but ps3 version. I think the Ps3 and 360 version came out same time rite?

PS3 version is region free, so everybody just import it from US even thought it's not officially released here by EA.

Take a picture of the box where it shows the region or the disc.

I just remembered something...
Last week, I saw one of my Korean friend on Live was playing RB2. I asked him about the region, he said that RB2 is still US only but RB2 track packs (disc version) are not.
Whether is it true or not, I don't know as his England is pecah kao2.

Then someone go get the track packs!!
I've been dying to play the AC/DC ones
