did u try to do it on the pc or in the phone??

i did mine in the PC and no problem

get ori set...even mine sent for RMA before oso i still no regrets about getting the phone...it truly is an awesome phone and well worth the money

agree with davidmak...the girl should have just sent the phone to SC... 1 to 1 exchange is usually only around 7 days... (3 days for phones i think) its her fault that she waited imho...

anything longer than its warranty claim time.

she should have just stopped wasting her time whining away like a spoilt brat and send it to SC. heck..my phone had the same problems with her oso...and instead of whining like a brat...i just sent it for warranty..2 days later got it back

the only shit part about that shop was the fact that they didnt wanna give receipt...no matter what should give oso...coz no receipt means no warranty claim... SC requires to see the receipt for warranty claims.

i had the use ori battery shit oso.... mine was ori battery and no the chip wasnt defective (still using the same battery now)....and alot of my symptoms were the same as that girl whos caps lock button seems to be spoiled and probably doesnt know the meaning of the word "paragraph"...wat was wrong was the see saw cable... replaced it and it all went away...

its a ribbon cable in the slider...most likely its the same exact thing u call the flex-cable...i call it see saw coz thats wat the SC fellers call it

my GFs phone had the same shit as well... but not the ori battery thing... hers was defective with almost similar symptoms...changed the cable and its all good....

agree....this is a friggin awesome phone la....

im not much of a phone guy....but ive got no regrets buying it even when my phone had problems.

my phone only rosak once... not as bad as his...

for me its not just the camera... its the interface.. the wifi the everything la.... my first super duper phone mah... so sure like la.. ahhahahaha

even if ur sis has a handphone shop.... checking the date of production is one thing... but seriously...get ori... if any problems arise.. its much easier and more reliable to send it for warranty compared to AP companies.

typical SE... its fixed... and thank god it its.... my colleagues has nokias and their SMS ringtone is an entire bloody song!

whole song for SMS might be fun for the user themselves....but it gets ridiculously annoying for other people whos around u alot...

i HATE the damn sms ringtone on my colleagues phone...especially when he goes to the toilet or somewhere else where he doesnt pick up... long and loud....friggin annoying man...

i LOVE the 10 sec limitation for SEs honestly...

if i have my phone in my pocket i dont put anything else in there that has metal in it...

not even a lighter, coins keys etc etc....only soft stuff like cash or cigarettes (mine are soft packs)

yes...this phone is fully touchscreen... u can touch the screen anywhere u want....as long as u dont expect any response from the touching

actually i think it would be kinda weird for me....never surfed the net touching my monitors before

roughly around RM1.8k for ori set depending on shop.

most recommended would Atlantis in SS2 selling ori sets for RM1720

then its not ur mem card.. the ori games are stored in ur phone mem....

anyway... hope u bought original set...wont be surprised if the see-saw cable is due for a change....

my original themes went missing......only theme left was the one in the mem stick before the phone died...and it was the see-saw cable

dont know how vulnerable the see saw cable is....

but both mine and my GF's phone has been changed....

mebbe it needs a human touch to install it instead of factory machines due to it's "vulnerability"

i really think that AP sets shouldnt be supported until the AP companies get their stupid act together. especially in terms of after sales and RMA. always so bloody difficult to RMA AP sets no matter what the brand is.


think of it as software... dont support pirated.... buy ori

if theres problems....it would probably be later on and in which case...u can send for RMA.


also would advise u to update the firmware via SEUS (or at least check if urs is the latest)

the important thing is....

is your phone working perfectly??

if it is...forget the 99% issue for now and just enjoy it. no point worrying too much when theres really nuttin happening...

u just need to be aware of any issues later on. once there's issues...send the phone in. until then...just use and enjoy

my GFs phone will be going back to the SC for another warranty claim as soon as we get my car back from workshop....


keypad issue

did u set ur ringing volume to the max??? mine is fine for me...

mine so far still ok...only GF phone has the keypad tactile feedback thingy

eh guys....when u write an SMS... u go to add sound....then sound effects...

ull see a bunch of audio files there............


WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY??? i wanna use for ringtone but cant find through file manager....cant even find the damn sound effects folder

dont see anything new.....all the features there i alread have with the current firmware except for the SMS chat....

n yeah....i hate the keypad design too.... especially for long SMS... makes my fingers hurt....

nowadays even though im not used to my old w810i anymore...i can still type SMS faster on the w810i than the c905...

worst if im in the middle of a chat (ebuddy)....damn pain man my hands and fingers...
