The classic popular IEM is the Sennheiser CX300. You can go with the newer CX400/500 but they're more expensive. If you're not a fan of Sennheiser, MylarCrossRoads are good too. Just get the latest one available from Garage Sale section. On the higher range of IEMs, you can wait for the upcoming S-jays. They're available on E-bay now but quite pricey. Maybe you should go to 'HeadFi' for recommendations and reviews.

Also you should pair or power these IEMs with a personal amp. For cheap ones, you can go with E5 for RM9x.

I think they're both the same. I've seen Sony Ericsson phones come with Sandisk M2 and some with Sony M2 cards. I would guess that Sandisk will be the larger manufacturer of M2 cards now while Sony can now earn the royalty fees without making a single one of them. How convenient. So anyone of them will be fine, just make sure you're getting original Sandisk packs since they are a lot of China replicas.

You can authenticate Sandisk products by taking picture of the packaging (with serial numbers) and the card body itself to Sandisk customer support. They will be able to answer you. I did the same last time.

I updated mine too! But via the hardway. SEUS wasn't really successful. It stopped at 98% permanently and nothing can be done to get pass it. And I was left with a dead phone. In the end I had to send it in for firmware flashing which was done in about an hour.

Anyway I notice one discrepancy. The Wayfinder application is still named as Wayfinder 7 but the version is now 8.1.13. So I got the Wayfinder 8 or its an older version?

Thanks for the confirmation. The new update is looking great. My phone starts up faster and I can access the contacts sooner than before. Before the update, it'll lag tremendously until things settle down. I notice some UI changes in some part of the phone, for example the media x-bar. The rest is basically more fluid.

I also notice some changes in camera characteristics. The pictures doesn't look as 'dark' or contrasty as before. Need more trials to confirm though.

It does bothers my decision at first. But then I can't remember when was the last time I use video call so I figured out it is something I don't use anyway other than to show off. Anyway, I would prefer the video cam to be placed on the other side. I can now show my caller what I am seeing and I can also implement privacy by putting a picture.

I actually sent it to SE Service Center in Plaza Berjaya. There was no way I could revive the phone. DaVinci and Wotanserver unlocking utilities can revive my phone but I need to pay for the service. Since mine is an authorized unit and I was very sure it was a update failure, paying the money doesn't make sense when I can do it for free by sending it in. Of course, I need to pay parking ticket, lunch and wasting some time.

Actually there's an easier way to this with a slight increase in risk (depending on how you look at it). You can generate your own 'upgrade xml' file with Malaysian/APAC-ANZ region codes (just 2 lines). Then use A2Uploader Tool to access SE internal file system. Just dump the newly generated xml file into a pre-determined folder and you're done. Next time you use SEUS, it will correctly detect a new firmware for you. Save you some bucks.

Your last alternative is to wait it out until the firmware is available for your region which your AP set is based.

Guys, I notice one problem with our latest firmware (at least on my unit). My phone tends to restart or crash if I play videos too extensively like a good session of Youtube via WIFI connection. It has happened 3 times now.

The effective resolution is slightly smaller actually. This is because the image projected by then lens onto the sensor surface is usually smaller than the entire sensor die. If you would to draw output from the entire sensor area, you will see aberrations and anomalies. So they only draw from a selected group of sensors where actual image is projected on.

What happens is that she may be sending very long SMSes or forwarded SMSs with character encoding (Chinese). If not mistaken, C905 will convert 3-4 pages long of SMS into MMS for more cost effective usage.

Its about the largest available for an A200 platform phone. Previous ones are 2-2.2" large. This one is 2.4". I think with A200 UI, you don't really need very large screen unless you need to display a lot of information. I guess that makes browsing with the phone kinda useless even though it has WIFI. FYI, even a 2.8" screen isn't large enough. Probably a 3.5" would suit better or maybe a 4.3" screen.

Actually you can update your CDA to the one recognizable by SEUS for APAC-ANZ (Malaysia). I've got the tools and the CDA numbers. You can update your phone's CDA this way. I think one guy from here has tried it.

Yeah now SEUS updates different compared to last time. I remember during K800i days, you can update and it will not interfere with user data. But now, everything will be restored to manufacturer default.

Same case here. I was at JayaOne yesterday and was sitting just outside starbucks. WIFI connected but when I tried on browser, it say not connected, even though IT IS connected. After numerous try, the WIFI miraculously worked. No problems after that.

But I do know handphone WIFI antennas are smaller gain type so their sensitivity and strength cannot be compared with laptops or ones with a large antenna.

Well mine is an authorized set so I didn't do anything. But I did research about it. There's a CDA generator (which can be found on Google). All you need to know is the CDA and the revision number. The CDA dictates the region while the revision number dictates the language and customizations to be detected by SEUS. Once you generate the file, you upload it to your phone via A2Uploader (also found on Google). You paste it onto a certain directory and then reset the phone. Once the phone starts, it will update its customization file to the new CDA and revision number.

After all, SEUS will detect the new firmware for your phone. SEUS works by checking your customization file and look for CDA number. This number will tell what firmware to be downloaded onto your phone.

What crisis? Maybe there isn't one

I encountered the same problem after I updated the phone software myself initially. Then I brought back to SE service center for flashing. But it didn't last long before it went on an infinite restart. Then service center again, came back OK but later cannot restart like your case. So go back to Times Square this time it was there for 3 days. Later they replaced with a new set.

I suspect EROM problem.

Yeah mine was serious case. I play some videos or browse youtube for awhile and then bam! It would crash and then attempt to restart. When it hits the standby home screen, it goes back to blank screen and the process repeats infinitely. Only way was to remove the battery.

Now after the replacement unit, I am glad to say this problem have never occur so far. Play any videos or youtube sessions will not cause the phone to crash.
