2g = gsm = the original standard
3g = cdma = newer standard, support for video call, top speed 384kbps
3.5g = hsdpa = one of the latest standard, good for internet use, top speed around 1.5mbps

for normal voice call, stick to 2g, will make battery last longer.
switch to cdma only when needed.

It feels quite weird, right?

All previous XM models have stereo/dual speakers.

But why this 5730 Xm only has single speaker doh.gif

No offense !
but for my personal taste , i think the slide-out keyboard's design is abit ugly!

Maybe 5800 is more better smile.gif
