from animenfo:
Azuma Kazuma is a young bakery worker. He has a dream that he will make Japanese bread, "Ja-pan", which will be better than any other bread in Japan. He has 'palms of sun", which are much warmer palms than those of normal people, and they are useful for making bread. With his "palms of sun" and creative ideas, he will beat rivals who will appear one after another. But like i say, to get the whole idea (and fun ^^; ), it's better to read the manga first. I think it's hard to like the anime straight away unless if you read the manga. (or you just like baking bread ^^; ) This post has been edited by Joseph Hahn: Oct 13 2004, 06:38 PM |

The mangaka of this book is really creative and humourous. The manga keep made me laugh like mad. Especially the emotion when someone taste the bread...

Why should anyone stay away from this if they haven't read the manga?
I say everyone must watch this! I quite like the opening theme, but a bit disappointed at the ending animation, especially if it will be the same clip every time. But oh man, watching the bread eating expressions on the first episode is already making me drooling the next few expressions in animated from. |
