Just finished reading The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell. I'm quite disappointed with Lisa Jewell latest book.
I rate 2.5/5. This is a slow burn mystery that will take time to reach for the climax. Too much dramas between Tallulah with her husband and friends which totally annoying. The characters are flat and unlikeable. Author's previous work such as Then She Was Gone and The Family Upstairs are much better. ![]() This post has been edited by xpole: Aug 31 2021, 11:49 PM |

I will share more books that I read in the future.
I prefer to read thrillers, horror and historical fiction. For non fiction, it depends on the subject. This post has been edited by xpole: Aug 31 2021, 11:54 PM |

Now I know why most local people avoid public libraries in Malaysia.
The book collections are not updated, catered to 1 language mostly, and heavily with religion book collections. I surf Overdrive by the PPAS library website, the e-books that are available to be borrowed are not interesting. This post has been edited by xpole: Sep 21 2021, 11:38 AM |
