Just finished reading The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell. I'm quite disappointed with Lisa Jewell latest book.

I rate 2.5/5. This is a slow burn mystery that will take time to reach for the climax. Too much dramas between Tallulah with her husband and friends which totally annoying. The characters are flat and unlikeable.

Author's previous work such as Then She Was Gone and The Family Upstairs are much better.

I will share more books that I read in the future.

I prefer to read thrillers, horror and historical fiction. smile.gif

For non fiction, it depends on the subject.

Now I know why most local people avoid public libraries in Malaysia.

The book collections are not updated, catered to 1 language mostly, and heavily with religion book collections.

I surf Overdrive by the PPAS library website, the e-books that are available to be borrowed are not interesting.

All of the books below borrowed at PPAS Shah Alam smile.gif

Right now, I have settled reading Such A Fun Age. 1/5 ratings. I couldn't connect with all the characters in this book.
My next read is The Kite Runner. Right now I'm at page 28.
