Ganbate. I hope to restart my Gardens of the Moon too. Some people actually have the opinion that newbies should start at Bk 2.

Hi Reveur, not yet a fan. I got a few Brandon Sanderson lined up but I need to slog through my Hamilton's Night's Dawn trilogy first. Am in the 3rd gargantuan book. So many stories, so little time!

But feel free to gush about it. Maybe I will bump him up my reading list. BTW, for fantasy fans, Brent Week's Night Angel Trilogy is released in omnibus form. Have not read it but heard good reviews. Available in good old Kino's.

Edit :
On scrolling through the previous pages, I noticed a lot of ppl trying out George R R Martin! Yea!!! What do you guys think about it? I am not opening a separate thread for it, I can't remember enough of it since I read his books ages ago, got no time to reread them. And reread them I should as there so many nuances and plotlines I have forgotten. I need must try and get hold of Dances of the Dragon *envy*

Spoiler Alert !! Don't read onwards until you have read Feast of Crows.

Jaime Lannister is starting to redeem himself in my eyes.

Edit Again :
Duh - just realised THERE is a thread open. I'm moving over!
