1984 By George Orwell. The book is now in public domain in most countries except USA, so it can be found for free or bought really cheap.

A story set in a dystopia controlled by a totalitarianism government party. We get to experience the dystopia through the protagonist who starts to gain individuality and starts to rebel.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone. Even though the book was written in 1949 the themes are still very relevant and somewhat relatable today.
