Finished 'We Are Okay' by Nina LaCour, i love the book, very simple yet full of inspiration for life, for who we really are and finding ourselves.
Next read: The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood. Heard about the author and finally lucky enough got it exchanged with my Terry Pratchett book during the kl book on the move event |

Just finished 'The Song Of Achilles' by Madeline Miller, like the title, it's a story about the Greek God Achilles. In my opinion, the story very interesting, heartbreaking and bittersweet :')
Next will be reading 'Circe' also by Madeline Miller (guess i am addicted on her writing :x) |

QUOTE(N1ck @ Sep 12 2021, 08:05 PM) 1984 By George Orwell. The book is now in public domain in most countries except USA, so it can be found for free or bought really cheap. I like the animal farm too, by the same author 😁A story set in a dystopia controlled by a totalitarianism government party. We get to experience the dystopia through the protagonist who starts to gain individuality and starts to rebel. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. Even though the book was written in 1949 the themes are still very relevant and somewhat relatable today. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ May 19 2022, 08:22 AM) Sometimes I wonder if she is still writing her own book, or she just hires ghostwriters. She did! This book is her latest work, previously was Ickabog also a book for children hahaBut as far as her fame goes, she can write anything she wants and people will still buy it. She no longer has a care in the world about profitability! |

Seems that she is always in the news for non-literary related topics nowadays 🤧 TW_tankengine95 liked this post
